I did some testing last night and noticed WW is very top heavy. Once it leans over it will fall over and not much chance to stabilize itself. I also found it very burst prone so im running 580 Taper which has had moderate succes. Heavy recoil with the weight.

So the general opinion I got for Whale Wave is sort of a mixed back right now. I've seen it perform okay, and (much like in your case) I've seen it perform absolutely nuts. That said, I'm personally gonna try variants of Whale Wave on either Orb or Hexa, and also try to see if I can craft a defensive destabilizer using this blade.

Hell yeah man! Absolutely nothing wrong with that! It is a very good blade for sure but I can see other combos working better on it that stock. I look forward to seeing and hearing what you tried out!

Lol it's uneven but still fairly balanced with more weight added to the backside of it lol. It's all about the weight distribution when it comes to any bey in beyblade

Likely Wave 4, maybe Wave 3 for Hasbro! Wave 3 might be leaked out for the end of the year, but likely won't start hitting the shelves until early 2025, but that's just my opinion and prediction lol

I like Whale Wave but I don't like how it's only available in a random booster. Would you recommend either of the other builds? Besides building around the Elevate Bit; what other combo would you recommend for Whale Wave?

Absolutely! I agree with you there. I love the Whale Wave bey for sure. The stock combo is fun to use. So far I've been messing around with 5-60 Taper, 3-70 Low Flat, 9-80 Point. Those have all been pretty good from my experience so far

I believe beysandbricks.com had a small shipment delivered to them. They are working on restocking to get the rest of the pre orders sent out. They received more pre orders than what they typically get for Whale Wave and Lightning L-Drago
