I'll be lowering a 49 deluxe i just got shortly and I already know my OCD ass is going to have to clean, strip, and powder coat every single piece of the suspension before I put it all back together.

Hey brother , just wondering the prices , rear lowering blocks , bump stops , front springs and shocks setup ? Plus brands , and company you got the at ! And last , the time do it

How did it ride ? I’m thinking about doing it to my 52 bel air ! Did you find any concerns, as far as the way it handled on the road or bumps ?

I do not remember what brand the kit was, my buddy supplied it. It was fairly straight forward to install. Probably took me 3-4hours. I would recommend doing a frame notch in the rear it was more less on the bump stops.

you can cut 2 raps off your front springs and that will drop it 4 inches. you cut one rap that will drop you 2 in. you cut a rap and a half that will drop you 3 inches. and use 4 inch blocks in the back....
