As someone who’s bought and sold 6 sumos on the knife swap Reddit page. Based on your video i can 100 percent say it’s the same knife. Even same variations of the last release. What sold it is the sound. And am i gonna buy one? Yup!

My guess is that WE was the OEM for the original Sumo. The original had a cool asymmetric pivot, so not possible to just swap them out.

I think a lot of companies probably don't want jimps landing on the stop pin because then you'd have a bit weaker contact point because the jimps would deform easier and cause rock. At least, that's my theory on that.

Kubey uses titanium screws on their premiums so some blue anodization to the pivot and screws and backspacer and clip would be setting it off , any color you like really .

Thanks for another great review . I know the materials are good on this BUT the Sumo is FUGLYYYYY (IMO) I think they should have used lesser steel & charged a lot less because I don NOT see a lot of people wanting to spend $270 on this design . The Sylow is actually MUCH cooler & better deal too BUT thats just my 2 cents 😜
