I just got the same varatas in yesterday along with skiffs and swapped it immediately. I’m blown away. No squeak on mine. But the action is so glassy smooth, detent is flawless for the front flip and it broke in amazingly well in a single day. It’s my first kizer as in used to buying midtech tier knives and definitely won’t be my last. I used to hate front flippers but this thing changed that completely.

again im late to the party! anyways, just wanted to mention i started using locktite on all my knives like any normal person would. but im like having to wait 24 hours before using my knives sucked..... asss!! luckily we have you in the community and the rest is history. ill admit i was hesitant at first, afraid to lock up my pivot and whatever other nightmare could come along with using superglue on my knives. come to find out after just doing it, its easy nothing to it, best of all it works better then locktite and you can use the knife pretty much right away... so thank you kevin for sharing, in my opinion one of the best tips ever to include in every day knife maintenance.. take care!

To hell with super glue, I think you should start using cement on the pivot 😅.. my brother owns his own Cement company, I can truck you over whatever grade of cement you need in a mixer..

Damn mine has the same wierd sound u were hearing. Almost like a tiny rachet sound. I didn't put skiffs just polishing and cleaning. I dont like it. Action is same i guess.

I love mine on skiffs. It really makes it feel much more solid on lockup sent the pivot feels like it’s riding on glass. Stupid slicey as well.
