Hi John i see you have a reddish rash/mark on the inside of your left elbow, is it a rash or stretchmark ? I've also been getting a similar type of mark.

Hello. I definitely need more outer quad development. I’ve been doing more hack squats changing angle with toes etc.. if my heels come off the floor as I get in the bottom Position, should I bring my legs out more? I’m 5”11.

Timothy Lanore I have similar issue, my legs are 37” long, and only 6’2. Many will say it’s ankle mobility issue. However it’s contextual to anthropometry. So to stop heel lift, go power lifter shoe. Or for cheapskates(me) Heels on wedge/plates or stripper heels!🤣. Legs abducted more will limit ankle eversion so sweep intent is gone. As for the feet height on platform, lower is quad, higher for posterior chain. That’s where long legs love. As we’re conventional deadlifters never squatters. Levers make us efficient to pull, pushing its longer so not efficient 🥺

If youre main focus is quads you dont need to go all the way down. Just feel out if u get a burn on the quads by doing half reps. I do half reps on the hack and Ibget6a serious burn in my quads. Test what works for you.

Doing half reps for quads when using machines is the dumbest thing you can do. When trying to develop quads you should aim for maximal knee flexion, and machines will help you reach that. So why would you do half reps?

@@simondarras2352 Its really simple. If you get a burn it works. Plain and simple, I dont care how much "knowledge" you got.

@@almightyz125 Actually knowledge might help a bit here. Taking a muscle to its lengthened position under load will actually yield better results than chasing the burn for the sake of it.
