"We both know that you made mistakes Niklaus, but you did right by her brother." Elijah looking at Hope with a smile on his face. "Look at her, she's strong and smart and loyal." A little sad smile kreeps on Klaus' face. Elijah: " And while all these marvelous qualities were undoubtetly bestowed upon her by her mother-" Klaus giving him the fake evil eye. Elijah continuing: "you became quite a father to her in the end Niklaus. She will forgive herself eventually and so will you. Elijah leaving. Klaus watching his daughter deep in thought.

Joseph wanted to play Klaus on the originals but the writers killed him off to make legacies, but I think its highly likely he’ll come back one day. Maybe not this season but remember he’s an original and he can come back even though he’s dad. There’s always a way. As for Joseph Morgan I doubt he’ll appear until the next season at most, he’s defo one of my all time favorites.

dad, i’m no stranger to death but that doesn’t mean i want to talk about it. Once a year for remembrance day we’re asked to write letters to our lost loved ones. We sign our names, fold them up, and scatter them throughout the cemitary. i usually don’t see the point in it. why write to the dead. i’d rather not think about it at all, except lately death keeps knocking on my door. Today i messed up. bad. i messed up in ways of you were here you would be so disappointed in me. i’m not sure i know how to fix it. i was told today that you would never find peace until i found it in myself. i hope that was a lot to punish me. god knows i deserve that. but if it’s true, i’m going to do better. today i saw a glimpse of what true loneliness feels like, what lies in store for me if i don’t fine my own peace. so i’m going to get to work on that. i’m glad to know that you’re with me, but i look forward tot he day you’re not. i love you. hope

I wish there will be a scene were hope is in an unconscious state and somehow reaches out to her parents. See walks up on the floors of the forest and hears music and sees a bright light and two silhouette, which are Klaus and Hayley. They will run and give her a group hug and he will tell her that he is at peace because Hope was his power and now he is with his lost family members and friends. They can both remind her to keep fighting and it’s ok to feel alone sometimes but she should remember that they are always with her and will love always and forever.

My guess is that Hope has still not completely forgiven him for killing her mother, although she said she blames herself. They were also not as close before because he decided to leave his old life behind. Yes, he did it to protect her too but the other appeared to have stayed in contact with Hayley and her through one way or another. I guess Hope just does not feel too connected to him, which I think is okay from her point of view. So far, she has mentioned nearly everyone else of her family except Elijah and Kol. But my guess is, eventually she will. Probably when she does something noble or so, she will reference something of Elijah and if there is a complicated spell she just cannot figure out she will wish she could ask Kol, the witch encyclopedia, about it.
