I believe that they should come up with a couple of different subsections of witches, like they did with the Siphoners a few years back. I'm also expecting to find out how Siphoners came to be. They need to expand on the Siphoner mythology more. Plus, can you imagine the surprise if some members of the Gemini Coven somehow survived and returned in future seasons, but as the bad guys trying to get Lizzie and Josie? That would also be a story worth exploring. Next season should feature Freya, Kol, Kai, Valerie, Damon, Jeremy, Matt and perhaps Bonnie. Caroline will return for sure at some point. If they got Candice full time it would be a dream come true.

Juiicy Skittles I think they tried to give Bonnie the teacher role. She turned it down. She said she won’t ever be coming back to the show. Some fans believe it’s because they were giving yet another “supporting role”, and quite honestly, they really fucked her character up in the original series, so, I can’t blame her. Bonnie, the most powerful witch with the shittiest storylines. If not for how great and charismatic kat graham is, that character really wouldn’t have survived, especially with all the triangle ships Julie was pushing out of her ass.

I really miss the Alaric from TVD, the one in Legacies seems to be a watered down version of the bad@ss he was. The school has a lot of potential, but he's looking at it like an opportunity for everyone to play house, I wasn't even aware that the school wasn't teaching offensive magic to the witches and not feeding blood to the vamps, though I did know of locking the wolves during their changing. He made those kids targets. He's spent a good portion of the series criticizing Klaus (to his daughter no less) and his blood thirsty ways, but Klaus would've never allowed his family (especially his daughter) to come to harm (be it physical or emotional) and if he needed to snap a few heads off or rip out hearts, he would do it (and he did). Klaus was flawed, but he loved and protected his family (within his limitations as a flawed individual). I also get that the show is supposed to focus on the new generation, and vampires aside and maybe the wolves (since they could be packless), shouldn't the witches have covens or at least families who should've been aware of what was going on? I get why Hope is all alone (none of the actors from TO wish to reprise their roles, I've also heard that a few are but the creators of the show have not done anything, not really sure what is going on there). And the only parent we do get to see, MG's mom (the dad didn't play anything into this), turns out to be the enemy.... In any case, if I were a parent sending my kid into a school with waring factions, I would make sure they would be safe and would know if something went wrong. I hope they are able to bring characters from TO for S2, because the fact that Hope has family and is still quite alone/orphaned bothers me greatly, the Male role models should be Marcel or Kol. Or better yet, why not bring the other Mikaelson brother (Henrich?) into the fold? He could be a strong pillar for Hope, the series has literally resurrected everybody from the neighbor's cat to that fly that died in episode 1x01 of TVD and you tell me they can't resurrect a dead Male witch (or at least of the Orginal witch bloodline)? Hope needs her family.

Plus Vicent and Davina never liked Klaus and Keelin is very new to the family (though at this point I'll take whatever they are willing to give her). I just want her to have her family, she might have lost both her parents and an uncle, but she is not an orphan.

ith has come already al lthe vampire diaries show had witches(bonnies),vampires(stefan,damon,karoline) werewolfs(tyler) and humans(mat,alaric and elena) and also magical vampire hunters (jeremy) and also in originals we have original vampires hubrids(claus and hayley) werewolfs(her pack) and witches (mostly freya) and humans( kami) and so all kinds have worked together in two shows like a million times

Chris Gotta they fought together as friends -as a squad- not as factions. If you remember, vampires and werewolves were never on the same side and they both despised witches, which is shown more in the originals more so than the vampire diaries, since tvd was focused on the squad as friends and not as factions. It has never been done like legacies is doing it.

Looking back on this scene I think everyone is missing a big part of the equation. At the time Legacies was still leaning on the more “kid friendly fight monsters” show thing because Hope was still not a full tribrid yet. Not only that but it’s stated that Alaric didn’t allow for any of the students to really hone their abilities for fear of them becoming too powerful and going into the outside world and hurting and killing people. For example: he only let the witches practice “earth magic” which although can be used for self defense, is significantly less effective than “dark magic” as seen in the previous shows. He had all the vampires on an animal blood diet to avoid anyone becoming a ripper and to also keep them at half strength. I don’t even know what he did to hinder the werewolves but the point is, these kids were working with all the had at the time which was teamwork with a supernatural twist. Of course it’s going to come out cliche and high school musical-y. That was how Alaric was running things.

Can we talk about the major plot hole here? The students in the school couldn't use their powers because of that blood fountain which uses traveller spell which is apparently anti magic. So that means, no magic. Every vampire student in the school should have DIED however they did before they turned into a vampire because, as stated by Tvd and TO, Vampirism is magic. This is not a theory. Let's go back to season 6 of the vampire diaries when Mystic falls were spelled by the travellers and Elena, Damon, Stefan and Caroline couldn't enter mystic falls for a while. Remember when Tyler crossed the border and he died and didn't come back a hybrid? Or when Elena crossed the border to try and remember about Damon when she was compelled to forget him and she started spitting out water cause she died by drowning? Or let's talk about how Alaric became human again by crossing the border and being saved by Jo.

The fact that in their time, the students learned the restraint and responsibility to not just rip people’s hearts out an snap their necks... vampires have changed, witches didn’t curse their bloodlines 😂 and the wolves... are wolves 😆 I kinda like that these kids are taught well.
