It’s definitely a nice little pack. My only trouble is that Barrage has one misassembled shoulder, got flipped by the looks of it, thus making it go lower than it should which means transformation isn’t cleanly achievable without forcing things badly. Can still get him in bug mode without it locking though which is good, along with it not too noticeable in bot mode since it’s lower by barely a millimeter.

I opened both Doom and Destruction sets today and both had misassemblies. Breakdown had a leg attached incorrectly, easy fix. But Barrage has two left shoulders. Already contacted Hasbro customer support.

I suspect we'll get some third party parts to improve these guys. New weapons, new parts for Barrage to fix Emgo's issues, stuff like that.

Chop Shop & Barrage have bugged me crazy in "Transformers: Fall Of Cybertron" & "Transformers: Rise Of The Dark Spark" as in the video games they were the Insecticon minions of Sharpnel, Bombshell & Kickback.

The color scheme almost looks like Cicadacon and Ramhorn, maybe if they dabbled with a Scorpinoc mold would have made something like Tripedacus.

Chopshop’s extra legs make his beetle mode better, since using the Shrapnel legs on his back turn him into an 8 legged arachnid. Also he is too wide for them to look right.

Happy 4th of July! I love mine. I've been waiting forever for updates of this trio of Insecticons. Sadly I'm missing that Buzz Worthy Bumblebee Creatures Collide multi 4pack Ransack too. I'm disappointed that they didn't get they're own molds. Sadly thus is the fate of exclusives these days. Hopefully this will be the foot in the door they need to get more proper figures in the future. Thankfully our 4th insecticon Venom is getting a his own mold in next year's generations Prime line. So at least we can look forward to that. That reminds me I need to replace my G1 insecticon preciouses too. Oh my poor wallet has never felt this stressed before.... LOL 😂

Ransack is in a set of four with repaints of BW waspinator, BW scorponok, and the Goldbug VW bee repaint. I think it was supposed to be a target “exclusive,” and it’s a buzzworthy bee release. I have one, but personally I still want to keep it, but also get standard kickback and bombshell because I was never able to get bombshell for MSRP unfortunately.

Honestly, I don't think anyone owns the G1 versions, which is a pity. I think that there were four robots in the Deluxe Insecticons, and they looked far more realistic than the black/purple/silver ones that were more famous.

I got that 4 figure set with Ransack mainly because I wanted the Goldbug figure and it just worked out I didn't own any version of the other 3 molds in the set. That Ransack convinced me to pick up Dropkick because I didn't want to like the simplicity of the figure but it ended up being just a fun, straight forward toy. Sometimes I forget that simple toys can be just as great as clever complex toys. Ended up with a set of the new Insecticons and might eventually try to get these figures someday if I can find them for a decent price.

Also, I got the 4-pk for Goldbug (didn't have anyone from the mold or a main Bee), then Goldbug and Ransack became my favorites of the set. Ransack is just a fun bug guy! I really need to grab this set for (Ransack's friends) Chop-Shop and Barrage. Now we need Venom to complete the team! I really wanna grab Bombshell (cuz hes my fav), maybe Shrapnel, and Kickback (now I know how the mold works).

I just opened and displayed my set today. Sadly, the Bombshell/Barrage are examples of how mold reuse can create proportion issues. Because the legs are Shrapnels' they make the beetle butt disproportionately large. A slight alteration to the legs could have fixed that and given them a smoother profile. That said, I do like these figures and characters, I just think Barrage/Bombshell could have looked better.

My Chop Shop came with right side flip out back bug legs on both sides. So the left side bug legs don't sit perfectly but I don't feel like going through the hassle of replacing it so I ask instead, Malius Minotaurus, Smash or Pass?
