This short video might make you completely rethink your philosophy on how you wish to live over 2022.
It’s very contrarian. And the little-discussed concept Robin Sharma share might initially seem strange.

(4th grade teacher here)This is a great reminder that my students may not remember me. What’s truly important is to know that I’m giving my all to show up for my students. This is my life’s work.

I would disagree with this pivotal point on our daily compass. And here is why. In order to improve, contribute and leave a scratch in our world, one must strive to exit this mortal world knowing that those who we serve, impact and connected with, would be able to carry and evolve with courage our passion for a better and grateful tomorrow. IMHO 🙏

I like what your message is saying. To me I really only remember my parents faces and what they passed on to me. Their spirit lives on only from their spirit. I dont care about any material things that we had. Boat, car, house, farm. Those are memories and I love them all. Legacy to me is the way their character!! Thanks for sharing!!❤

Robin, I have to disagree with you on this. I am 65 years old. My wife and I have rented our entire lives. 6 years ago we bought a small (1.5 acre) piece of "raw" land in the mountains where we are building our dream cabin. Not big (700 sq ft.). I am building it from lumber I milled myself with tools that I made with my own hands. It is a Timber Frame mountain lodge cabin. Hand crafted Mortise and Tenon with wooden dowels.. We never owed a home. I'm not sure if I will even live long enough to enjoy it but I've always said it is my legacy to my children and my grandchildren. The thought that I'm leaving them something that I built with my own hands that is a place of refuge, sanctuary and safety for them IS my legacy to them. “Therefore, when we build, let us think that we build for ever. Let it not be for present delight, nor for present use alone; let it be such work as our descendants will thank us for, and let us think, as we lay stone on stone, that a time is to come when those stones will be held sacred because our hands have touched them, and that men will say as they look upon the labor and wrought substance of them, "See! this our father did for us." John Ruskin

Unfortunately, some people are in the search for a kind of fame, or to be in history, or just having a fancy life but, also by doing very destructive things. I think you are right with your new thought, legacy should be about searching your full potential (by re-thinking your own old believes, btw!) and with that, make a positive impact on the lifes of other people, we should always be driven by that. Some so-called leaders could start practicing that! 🤞

I haven't read your legacy book yet, but wouldn't this still be leaving a legacy behind? You being remembered by your family and friends as being an encourager and as someone who did what they wanted to do in life, and maybe even passing those values on to your kids

A question I like to ask is, would you be happy with the deeds of your life if the person you dislike most were to be given credit for them? If the only reason you do things is for recognition and you aren't enjoying the struggle, I would say you are building a house of cards. Legacy is AT BEST a symptom of a life well lived, but even that isn't guaranteed.

Hi Robin Sharma, I have been charged when I am not subscribed to any plan. I already cancelled it . Now I dont see any option to cancel and I am getting no reply from your customer support team. This is unfair. 30 days money guarantee you called out and now there is not even a single reply. How should I contact your support team to get my refund.

ok.. so you want people to be completely selfish, because without leaving a legacy you are leaving nothing for future generations. Legacy is about what you do for FUTURE generations and not as much about you.

Robin, I love your work dear friend. But I disagree with you on this one. There is an old African Proverb that goes... "A Man is not dead until His name is no longer spoken in the village" #endquote. Life is legacy.
