A remaster of Blood Omen 2 wouldn't hurt as well, but I always warn against the risk of even the slightest alteration in any characters looks, like in the case of both Soul Reavers REMASTERED (RFM is forever against Kain looking like a pissed of frog and Vorador has the looks of a bored twinkly dressed necromancer, not the white & crimson look of a sado-hedonist We all know and love) !😇! Blood Omen would have to be remade into a modern day roquelike without medling in the story, voice acting or anything in the gameplay, besides the 3D isometric camera + animations and effects !🤕! Not too much gore or flashes though, in order to prevent everything from becoming a bizarre slasher) !😖! No question about it, but whatever will be done to Legacy of Kain, the original voices must be preserved without any medling in them or altering the mix, because I remember what happened to the Soul Reaver INTRO, when they had Michael Bell alter Raziel's history lines (He was still great, but that version was way worse than the first version) !🧐!

There was a point in time, where they had Soul Reaver released as an anniversary release of some sorts, and it was there, that Michael Bell had Raziel say the first lines in a different manner... In a way far less impactful if You ask me, so that's the reason, why I'm all against altering the original voice acting and the puzzles or even Nosgoth itself (only the models and textures can be remade in my opionion, in order to preserve the magic of the true versions, but as We all see in the case of Kain, the remaster can even alter his looks and facial expresion, which infruences his overall demeanor, so that's also risky) !🧐! It was on YT somewhere, but it is better left forgotten, and I'm glad that the original INTRO voice acting was used in the REMASTERED version, so at least this PART of Legacy of Kain isn't a true remaster cash grab (but sold as a bundle with Soul Reaver 2 it still becomes one, so no way I'm paying more than 10$ for THAAAT, as Turel said) !😖! Despite it requiring lots of work to extract all the fragments from a gameplay recording, and then making it the best possible edit with the right picture aspect ratio in its entirety, it was pure joy to make the 4K Definitive Edition that it is for all & forever to be seen !🎃! I've had enough of all the flawed versions which took everything as it was and were thrown to US by uploaders, who didn't put enough effort to provide it in the quality it deserves as the ultimate narrative archive !😖! Hope You will come back whenever You'll fell like nosgothing a little bit, that You'll consider SUBSCRIBING to have an everlasting RFM beacon instantly teleporting into a good kainite's haven, and that You will also watch the entirety of the Legacy of Kain💀Blood Omen 2 FULL GAME MOVIE💀4K Definitive Edition💀, which required multiple times the Defiance effort, to make it a smooth and enjoyable movie, showing what has happened after the ending of Soul Reaver 2 (Kain saving Raziel from the sword altered his own past in a way, he didn't anticipate) and in a twisted way what is happening paralel to Defiance, while on the other hand still after the ending scene of the whole story... One can get dizzy even knowing the whole plot and timeline, but it is always a fun ride to take !🥴!

What seems obvious now, I think was bold and fresh at the time, and enabled a perfect ending in the TWO Soul Reavers becoming ONE in the hands of Kain, who started as Moebius's puppet, while in the end becoming The Scion of Balance, who cut all the strings, erasied all the ill influences on Nosgoths past, present and future and finaly saw a light in the darkness surounding him longer than he remembered !🤗! And I would like everyone to remember Amy Hennig, that was like The Pillar of Balance for the whole series (only Blood Omen 2 was made by another crew and it is noticable in every way) !🧐! She created Raziel and the whole Soul Reaver mythology and was there with her feeling and guidance when Michael Bell and Simon Templeman alongside other splendid voice actors gave their magnificent performances, that We all to this day appreciate simply reliving every line and moment of Legacy of Kain over and over again !🤗! Even the greatest leaders have their teams and associates, so I'm aware of the fact that it's not only her in the process of creating everything We love in Legacy of Kain, but in my opinion it is important to mention Amy Hennig, because if Michel Bell and Simont Templeman are Raziel and Kain, then she is Ariel, because she was the ONE guiding the voice actors during their recording sessions, explaining to them the characters moods, notions and meaning of the direction in which she wanted the words to be spoken !🧐! Simon Templeman is great and all, but after all these years he stated directly, that it was just work, and he can't attach himself to whatever he's doing professionaly, because it would make it imposible to do other things in a way, that is free of previous influences !😇! That's why I think that Amy was instrumental in making Legacy of Kain special and unforgettable, and why We have to mention her alongside the voice actors constantly hearing them, while watching Our beloved scenes or RFM Full Game Movies !🤗! An army without a leader i just a bunch of people without a common goal, so there's Amy for the whole Legacy of Kain if You ask RFM !🤗!

Thank you so much for giving us this beautifully refined edition of Defiance’s incredible story and the grand finale of the Legacy of Kain series, along with the other games. I was first introduced to the world of Nosgoth and its lore when I played Soul Reaver. Honestly, at the time, I wasn’t all that hyped about the cosmic elements or the deeper lore. I was just enjoying a cool game with some ‘weird-as-heck’ vampire designs. But as time passed, and I delved deeper into Nosgoth’s lore, history, and characters through the series, I got hooked. The designers and talented voice actors brought to life some of the most intriguing vampires I’ve ever seen in games-Raziel, Vorador, and, of course, the main man himself, Kain. Kain has since become my all-time favorite vampire villain and antihero. Every now and then, I find myself revisiting the series, reliving the unfolding stories, and savoring the phenomenal voice acting that made Raziel, Vorador, and Kain unforgettable.❤ 🧛

That's the best thing I can read concerning the RFM 4K Definitive Edition of Defiance... Thank You, for I've made it to be the ultimate movie version, so everyone can see it now and whenever in the future, as a testimony of the perfect story and voice acting gem that the whole Legacy of Kain is !😇! No mods have been harmed or used in the process of creating this video !🤗! I've extracted the cinematics from the gameplay recording, edited the hell out of them to the last frame + added some tiny augmentations in the background here and there, so that the sound effects would perfectly match the picture and made the custom Intro !🥴! (the most tiresome process, because all those Soul Reaver and Soul Reaver 2 Intro's tiny fragments had to be exchanged for the best quality ones from the Intro versions that I've also made earlier and which also are here on RFM) !🤕! As for why it is more beautifull than You remember from when We all were going through Defiance for the first time I think the reasons are... 1). Then we all had washed out color CRT screens or the first horrible and blurry LCD's which were no more than 17" (19" were considered a huge wall of a screen back then) with the 4:3 aspect ratio which made the cinematic even smaller and screen resolutions far less than today, which made everything jaggy as Kain's hell, cause there's no ingame anti-aliasing and back then the GPUs were a bit short for that on their own !🤕! ... 2). Back then many times We had to much brightness in the game's picture settings, as CRTs were like mirrors with their glass screens, so the colors were even more washed out (You can see it in the YT videos from say 14 or more years ago !😖! ... 3.) Now the LCD screens have many augmentations like quantum dots or anti glare coatings and so on, so when You see the whole of Defiance in a single sitting cinema-style with its entirity made by me in the propper 16:9 aspect ratio with no black barrs on the screen, You can finaly just immerse Yourself in the full Nosgoth experience, without thinking about this and that, which bugged You previously in the game itself or in other gameplay or cinematic versions of Defiance !🎃! Glad You like it... Come back as many times as You like, watch the Legacy of Kain💀COMPLETE STORY💀 playlist, where besides Defiance, You have the Definitive Editions of Blood Omen, Blood Omen 2, and both Soul Reaver Intros I've mentioned as the source material for transforming the Defiance one (Soul Reaver 2 4K Definitive Edition comming soon) !🧐! It would be a good thing... True, but not like in the case of Soul Reaver 1 & 2, because a simple retexture cash grab with remodeling only the main characters is nothing short of it !😖! The story, audio and everything has to stay intact, but the whole world should also be remodeled to the last bit, to on the one hand upgrade the models, objects, ambience and special effects to modern day standards, while on the other be completely in order and coherent with the whole Legacy of Kain, as it was intended and made initially !🤗! A serious challenge that in my opinion wasn't acomplished when it comes to both the Soul Reavers, so everyone must be cautious what We wish for !🥴! GOG is selling them as well, but it is the buyer that has to augment Blood Omen 2 with Blood Omen 2: Conceptual Edition mod in order to have nicer looking HD characters, severall restored voice acting lines and lots of details for an overall fuller experience, while only on RFM can anyone experience Blood Omen 2 as a smooth and complete movie with all the extra sounds, music and editing to the last useless frame, that I've done in the process of transforming this mediocre gameplay into a worthwhile 4K Definitive Edition !🤗! The Elder God clearly states that he can't be killed and this makes sense, as he is like Raziel present in the ethereal realm as well, so after Kain burried him in the Citadel of the Apostates, he may be harmed physically, but never dead (although a deceiver and a fiend, no less a god of some sorts) !🧐! As for Mortanius I think Kain mentions hope, when he looks upon the shattered Pillars of Nosgoth from atop The Vampire Citadel, because he knows that in this moment on the one hand his younger self starts to build the vampire empire after killing Mortanius (he vanishes after talking with Raziel in Defiance for that final meeting with Kain at The Pillars of Nosgoth), while on the other hand the Hylden will be dealt with by his older self in the Blood Omen 2 timeline (He saw it all in the ending of Soul Reaver 2 when he altered history once more using the Soul Reaver), but maybe it is possible for him to chase down the future Sarafan Lord in his Janos Audron form and by killing him, secure everything, so that he, Vorador, Magnus, Sebastian, Marcus, Faustus and others can rule Nosgoth without having to fight the Sarafan at all !🤗! But then, there would be a tention of hidden betrayal among his underlings and he would never have the Sarafan priests entombed to use as corpses for his lieutenants, and so there would be no Raziel and so on... Im getting a bit dizzy pondering all the alterations another twist in Legacy of Kain history would provoke (it could worsen everything), so like Kain said to The Elder God... It best burrow deep and let us have Kain an eternal breather, assuming everything will be like it should be now !🤗! One thing for sure would help Kain in that regard... Consider SUBSCRIBING, so You can aid him forever watching the RFM Definitive Editions of his quest for power and order in Nosgoth !😇!

Kain must be now overpowered with Raziel's gifts after absorbing him into his physical Soul Reaver and that has some huge potential for next game being Kain, the vampiric demon god. Imagine the possibilities he can do: travel between spectral and material world, swimming, eating souls and much more.

I don't think that Raziel entering The Soul Reaver automatically bestowed these gifts to Kain... His role was to in the end absorb Ariel's soul, which in turn had all the previous Balance Guardian's souls in it, and by this he purified the sight and soul of every Soul Reaver wielder !🧐! Therefore on the one hand, while he possesses the sword, Kain may have some augmentations as well (for certain like before The Soul Reaver drains the living essence of vanquished foes, but now Raziel also consumes their souls, which in turn feeds The Elder God, so it's not perfect in that regard), but on the other hand inbued with Raziel's soul The Soul Reaver has purified Kain's sight in the way, that he was finaly able to see The Elder God in the physical realm and fight him as any other foe !🤗! As for the Kain almighty theme, We don't know if it would be good, because the whole Legacy of Kain is about fighting ones destiny against all odds, while constantly augmenting Raziel and Kain in regards to their ability to fight the forces unknown and much more powerful than them both... Now there would be only Kain and a muted Raziel in a sword duo, while we know all the facts and enemies there ever were... So he would either have to provoke some new timeline with enemies even more inflated in power than The Elder God and Hylden in order for the adventure to be new and demanding, but I don't think that anyone could make this comprehensive with the Nosgoth that Amy Hennig created, and it would make Kain a bit stupid in a way, because after finaly making things seem to go his way, he would start tinkering with it and generating new problems, on top of those, that he fought all his unlife... It makes me shiver, when I think about the Disney Star Wars effect it would have on the whole Legacy of Kain and the legendary Kain as we know him !😖! I FORBID IT !😇! But also appreciate the chance to share our thoughts on the matter !🤗!

Back in the day of The Two Towers We all saw that it is possible to transform an anctor into Kain in an Uruk-hai way, so it is only a matter of a good concept and execution on a Lord of the Rings level, to have a movie masterpiece that would be in line with the original thing !🧐! AI can make the voices as they were back in the day, even when the voice actors will be gone, so maybe in the future there will be something done within the Legacy of Kain realm, but if You watch movies based on games it is practically always a disaster, so it's a risky thing to wish for if You ask Me !😖! What seems to be a tragedy, may be the best thing that was to be made, because always remember what could have happened to the whole story if it would be whacked by someone close to Disney in destroying the Star Wars saga out of greed and lack of respect for the original concept (they didn't listen even to Mark Hamill, when He warned them about the consequences of making Rey as she turned out to be) !😇! Thinking about all the series that were beaten with new seasons or parts untill they became a mockery of their past greatness, I deem it a wise move to just let the legend be a myth and always a 5 PART story with a powerfull ending of Kain finaly having that brief expression on his face... A moment of finally feeling secure and fulfilled... Hope that there are only the Hylden to be dealt with (which he knows will be all stopped in the timeline of Blood Omen 2) and that Nosgoth now only needs a wise and just ruler... Not The Nemesis or a vampire degenerate tyrant, which he was in the years of fighting destiny !🤗!

Taking into account everything that has happened in all 5 PARTS of Legacy of Kain, I think the ending scene of Defiance is a marvelous way to give US that touching moment, when Kain has Raziel in his hands and for the first time in all of his vampiric unlife sees hope in the coming future !🧐! As Janos Audrion said to Kain in Vorador's Sanctuary, there is more at stake than You can imagine !😇! If We summon the ghost of some studio with some voice actors and some story from another age and timeline, it could only mean the destruction of every pillar upon which stands the entire Legacy of Kain as We know it !😖! Let it forever be a 5 PART masterpiece, without any Disney making it something bizarre like in the case of Star Wars !🥴! RFM forbids it in the name of all the Balance Guardians !🤗!
