Im agree with Luke Taylor, they just enhance realistic graphic and forgot the storyline is important too. Older game have good storyline and give more impression. Although lowest graphic but still best game ever.

Born in 93' and was 8 when I played and beat this game. Didn't have a game system til then, but my dad had a PS1 and this game. I'd play it when I visited him in the summer and I still play it to this day. Glad that there is a community out there that is as much in love with it as I am. Thanks man, great job. I remember how impressed he was when he saw how large my stamina was asking, "How the fuck did you get your life that big?!" You should've seen his face when i showed him the cheats for Aerial and Dark Reaver lol

This game defines what a 90s psx era was. Sounds, atmosphere, animated menus, video intros, electronic music with style that can't be recreated... for me lok, legend of dragoon and metal gear solid were absolute essence of psx.

The coolest part of this game I realized just today playing the spider part is the most hardest part of the game, also the music sewers that you open if you do it right after the boss there a 3 more music sewer, open them. cutscene comes and u kill all spider monsters.they don't come. back

Now, due to the adaptation to the series, I usually hear people say The last of us is the best story ever told in a video game, and I agree it is great, I mean, I've played TLOU I-II multiple times; but man, at story level, I have never seen anything as well-constructed as the Blood omen and Legacy of Kain sagas, it's a superb work, and I've played from Final fantasies, metal gears, tomb raiders, Silent hills, etc. until all the souls-like games, god of wars, Dead red redemption II, and so on. I once heard Amy Henning say in an interview -especifically about Soul Reaver I- that this was the game she was more satisfied with, and that they could not give the game all the content they would've liked for matters of time and resources. Man I wish I get to see a good remake of this saga, it's just fantasy at its peak.
