Bug encountered at 32:42 mark. Bug: only one box appears and you cannot move it when there should be a box stacked twice high, easy to move. To get past the bug.. 1. Make SURE you save the game. 2. Quit, reload and it will take you back to the start (underworld). 3. Go ahead and get to the teleport room 4. Activate and choose the symbol that looks like a crane grabber from the arcades (west on map). 5. Walk through by pushing forward. 6. You will have to navigate a little before the big room with the bug, but push on and eventually, the box spawns as a double and able to move.

I was today years old when i realized that the "Lake of the Dead" is just a normal water lake. When i was a kid, i always thought that the "Lake of the Dead" was some sort of lake which made up of acid, cuz it burn Raziel. But in reality, is actually is just normal water lake. I do think the rest of the game could do with a proper remake like they did with Demon's Souls. Really crank the environments and refine the controls so it's not such a nightmare to play. The remaster is great for stirring up the old memories with a fresh coat of paint, but this franchise deserves to be fully reinvigorated.

I Think I’m having a bug. In 1:56:27 you turn the gear and it brake. In my run I turned the 3rd gear first. The animation of the pipe started as it should. When I back the turn the first and second gear nothing happen. No animation of pipe blowing air and the gear didn’t broke

Not a bug happened to me and many others in the past. You need to knock down 3 pipes before turning those Valves, the first two pipes are really easy to miss and they're right after you activate the 4 switches to fly up. Hope this helps

Can they now please do a Legacy of Kain 1 remake? It's time. Take a look at the POE2 engine. Its perfectly exactly the type of look and engine needed for a fitting LoK remake. Even the graveyards in POE2 make me think of the graveyard at the start of LoK, in a more modern 3D isometric sense. Also if they do it, please please don't revoice the amazing voice talent of Kain in the original. It needs to be "remastered" (voice audio enhanced) but not re-done by any other voice actor. His voice is so perfect for the character and all the lines in the game are just fine how they are. There is zero need to recast the voice. It's so iconic and must be kept!

They never did explain this part, the story has us believe Kain set Raziel free from the wheel of fate so that they could both play a part in saving both the vampire race and Nosgoth. Kain had no idea the elder god really existed, in defiance, Kain learns first hand what he had done when he sees the elder god for the first time. So casting Raziel into the abyss and what that would do to Raziel is something Kain could not have foreseen nor controlled. Nor have hoped for the best. The Elder God was the one to control the actions of Raziel... Not Kain. So how Kain relied on Raziel to chase him down is a bit of plot gap i'd say. It is also the Elder God that explains how Kain refused self sacrifice and condemned Nosgoth to eternal ruin. So Raziel hears a portion of the truth from the Elder God's mouth, enemy to all of Nosgoth. Why didn't Kain tell Raziel this himself? If Kain had a plan for Raziel, why does it revolve around Raziel evolving before Kain did? And why does Kain break Raziel's wings? If Kain had a purpose for Raziel in saving the realm and himself, wouldn't functional wings serve Raziel far better? Couldn't he have shown his plan to Raziel, so Raziel doesn't feel murderous towards Kain... After all, Raziel killed Kain for all intent and purpose, It's a miracle Kain lived on, one that Kain couldn't explain himself as he woke in the shadow realm. So Kain could have really died there and lost his bid forever... Raziel also learned how to save Nosgoth by entering the Soul Reaver, serving Kain once again at his right hand, so Kain can see the true enemy. ( The elder god. ) So even though the story has Kain plot this scheme throughout time, Kain had no idea that victory requires the selfless sacrifice of Raziel to be consumed by the soul reaver. We do know that Raziel's broken wings slowed him down significantly, so you could argue that Kain calculated that betraying Raziel would see Raziel chase him down throughout history. If Raziel could fly, he could catch Kain long before Kain got to make his moves, so breaking Raziel's wings meant that Raziel would always be a step behind Kain. Kain knows that vengeance is what motivated Raziel, their discussion at the Pillars on what should be done is where Kain shows he counted on Raziel's hate. So Kain is calculating Raziel's position and even wants Raziel to see the truth...To convince him that he is not the enemy but other, dark forces are...(The Hylden.) But if Kain relied on Raziel's hatred to play these moves and to be in those positions when destiny called for it, than again, why didn't Kain just explain all of it to Raziel? Pretty sure Raziel would have willingly jumped into the Abyss to save Nosgoth and the vampire race. If Kain had known about the elder god, Raziel would have too and he would never have followed the commands of the Elder God...That would have made for a very different story. But as we know, Kain had absolutely no idea what would happen to Raziel and what existed in that Abyss. It's almost like Soul Reaver 1 was a story based on vengeance, a vampire king got jealous and murdered his ally who survived the betrayal and then set out for revenge. When we look at the ending story for BO1, it gives you the option to sacrifice or not to save the pillars. So how players finished the game, that was the ending for Kain's story. Only in SR1 is one ending cannonized. where Kain did not sacrifice himself and ruled for a thousand years or more.

Did you seriously beat the game 100% within only 5 hours? In my memories the game required a lot more time.

Efficiency with your routes and memory of the puzzles will massively speed up gameplay. I can imagine a casual player who turns the hints off and doesn't Google how to find health relics or elemental glyphs easily losing 15+ hours in this - you're watching someone play who already knows how to solve the puzzles, without seeing the figuring out aspect of someone new to the game.
