The rest system is great for firefighters working 24 hr shifts, its aways been a hamper in many games not being able to do daily progression 1/3 of the time. Such a great design.

It’s only half good tho. If you skip on your daily 2 chaos runs, then tomorrow you get 1 extra loot instead of 2. Same with guardians and eponas.

@@kensapi it's not quite that bad. If you only play once every 3 days, you will get double loot the 3rd day, therefore losing one day. Not bad comparatively speaking.

As a new player I find that this goes into what you have to do and not so much the how. Example, I’ve just hit lvl 50 and your guide says you should do chaos dungeons but doesn’t go into how this is initiated and if u need to accept a quest somewhere or start. This makes me seek more info else where. Overall it’s informative and gives me a list of what I need to research more into so Ty.

Great video! One thing to note is that accumulating skill points to augment your skills is gonna be crucial and side quests and other forms of progress like rapport will give you skill points so you shouldn't skip them.

im insanely hyped for this game its weird. like im in my 30s and pretty cynical when it comes to game releases but for some unknown reason i've been researching this game the past couple of weeks, watching tons of vids, thinking about joining a guild... i knew it existed and was available to play if i jumped through a couple of hoops but held off for western release. i think the game has just been in the back of my mind for so long. i remember seeing a trailer before it was even available in korea. so now with a proper release only weeks away im actually hurting waiting for it to come out. like i dont even care about how bad release day will go, i will be there the second the doors open spamming my way in.

Yeah I feel you. I'm in my 30s as well and besides Ashes of Creation this is the only game I'm genuinely excited for at the moment. I love the style, the isometric view. I actually feel like it's more immersive and creates a more expensive world. I usually don't play 1st person anyways so this is perfect for me.

Great video. Chaos legion gate is basically a 50 man raid. Once a room is filled, new ones will open till 5 min joining time is up or there is no more players joining. That being said, be there at the beginning so you can be in a full room, being late put you in a less crowded room, 20-30 people instead of 50 which makes the run harder and longer. Prepare your feathers, you will die at least a few times per gate

once you are at the so called end game (lvl 50) it only takes an hour max and then you can log out and wait for the next day to do the same all over again, thats pretty much the end game.

Hello Codiak, I have a video suggestion for your next topic. There are always three of us in a group. Not a single KZbinr has created an overview of which end content is suitable for which group size, how much fun the content is, and whether quests are always identical for everyone. I'll give you an example: Each player has to accept 3 daily quests from a faction leader. Despite being in a group, all group members receive completely different quests. Unfortunately, the group leader cannot share the quests at all, so you have to complete 9 individual quests in the group, which makes playing together worse. This would be the ultimate overview for all group players who want to experience as much content as possible together.

While Lost Ark has a lot of new things to offer , a breath of fresh air for EU/NA and while i am desperate for a new mmo , i really fear this type of endgame . A million systems/features , a daily to-do-list that NEVER ever changes . I'm torn between maining this game and not even touching it at all . Let's face it , the "Do Grind A for some months till you no longer have to then move to Grind B" type of system makes a lot more sense and prevents burnouts and boredom . We'll see

Nice guide man One thing tho , about Gold , you only said it used for auction houses which is true but it’s also main currency in the game and once you reach T3 (which I get it , it’s not in NA launch ) you will need gold to upgrade your gear which become really important and some players stuck due to not knowing that and due to not knowing how make gold in the game ;) Can’t wait for NA launch tho , even I upset my boy Scouter won’t be available till later :(

Isn't it a bit misleading to mention legion raids in this video and set the title of the video to "Everything NA/EU Players can do at lvl 50?" Because at release we wont be able to do the raiding part at 5:07 of the video. Well have to wait at least half a year in worst case a year, till raids will be introduced into our version. It may seem like a lot, but Smilegate is one of the few developers that really understands that people don't want to log on and grind for 10 hours. It's pretty amazing once you reach 50 and get to experience it. It's not at all what a classic mmo grind feels like.

So endgame is just to grind a few bosses and some are once a week, all that takes maybe an hour if your slow and then you can log out and wait for next day, it feels pointless there really is no end game, some say its great for PVE completionists witch i am, but it really couldent be worse, the main questline dosent even have an ending bc they never cared to finish the questline so your stuck at 6 arks so all the grinding to get item level 1400+ is for what?
