It's too predictable as it's already been done in the last game and I'm kind of tired of it. 3 of their last 4 games had a protagonist either die or have the option to be killed. I honestly don't think they'll do that again. I'm predicting that the gang will splinter at some point, with Dutch leading some and Arthur leading the rest, that way you can still have the camp mechanics once the story is finished. At least, that's what I'm hoping for.

But I do wish that you would disable the chat donations for the first run, as I specifically came here to watch the release video and some of it was heavily spoiled by people splashing their donation info right in the dead center of the screen. It wouldn't surprise me if John actually kind of deserves it in some way. Also, Arthur wont die. They're not gonna pull the same trick they did in RDR1 because the majority of people expect that and Rockstar knows this. They are far better at story telling/writing to do the same thing over again.

I am fairly certain that the clip you were trying to dissect at 23:00 is a mission that a few select gang members team up with Native Americans in. The explosions in the back are most likely a result of canon fire. You can tell at least 3 of the men on horseback beside Arthur are Native Americans by looking at the men on the edges of the group. The man on the far right does not have a western style saddle on his horse, it looks more like a hide blanket, he also looks to be wearing hide clothing which can be seen from the stitching on the side of his pants, and of course he is using a bow and arrow.

I think the trailer focuses on Dutch and Arthur’s relationship but I also think it hints at Arthur and John’s relationship as well. This being a prequel obviously, I think the concentration will be on both how dutch fell and how John came to be.

John never came to be. He was left by the gang with a bullet. The federal agents blackmailed him into tracking down the remains of the gang and they shoot him again. This is symbolic. No matter which side he is on there will always be another bullet. He is promised freedom for his entire family and he agreed, killed them, and then he is killed. John was never a leader. The only people he leads is a farming lady, a swindler, a grave robber, and a drunk Irishman. "You can always get another irishman". He is the dumbest character in the game other than bill but through experience is much wiser, and has better charisma. Still, Dutch never fell to John Dutch succumbed to himself. The game points this out dramatically with a endgame speech and John can't shoot the man

I agree kind of. I think Dutch wants to keep things the same taking a quote from fallout "war never changes". Dutch hates change he says this as his dying words to john. Arthur takes a metal gear take on it and "as the times change we change too" is what he firmly believes in. Arthur predicts the dying of the West and Dutch thinks he can keep the west the way it is. This creates a rift.

So the pre-download has been completed but i only got the game installed but not the extras and the treasure map, they are just standing there waiting for installation and i can't do nothing. Anyone else?
