Sis ano meaning pag "British Embassy no longer need to have their affidavit administered at the Embassy and can now locally legalized and notarized in the Philippines". I called the US embassy on 7/23 and they were unaware of the change. They said they do not offer a Certificate of Legal Capacity to Contract Marriage and have no plans to do so. My Filipina fiancé and I have a wedding planned for October and now we don't know what to do. 😭

If before july 31 kayo magpapakasal pwede locally notarize at sa PSA website mismo madadownload ang form pero kung sa august pa. Si us embassy na mismo magpoprovide ng form katulad dati sabi ng kaibigan ko. Pero not sure if the same pa din ngayon. No need na Po pumunta sa us embassy if mag aapply kayo Ng marriage license on or before October 31 2023. Just copy the sample lccm form sa PSA website or check my last video, dyan yung instructions at form. Fill apan nyo at ipaprint then pagdumating yung fiance mo. Ipanotarize nyo nlng sa atty.

Right now no need na pumunta sa us embassy to obtain LCCM kasi PSA issued again a new memorandum last august 4, extension of allowing to accept the locally notarized legal capacity to contract marriage until October 31 2023. And btw if magpapanotarize sa USEM needs lng ni foreigner magdala Ng affidavit of legal capacity to contract marriage na form, proof of citizenship such as Us passport, birth certificate if born in us , naturalize certificate, crba if born abroad and evidence of previous marriage like divorce decree if divorced, annulment paper if annulled or death certificate of previous spouse. No need na kay Filipino fiance.

No need ni the foreign fiance yung personal appearance sa embassy para kumuha ng LCCM. Di pwede substitute

One of the Commentator named Joe Boyer responded this in the comment section. My fiance and I made a booking too. They only have limited slots so hopefully everyone will be aware about this ahead of time especially those who are planning to get wed by next month.

No po. Starting august 1. Sa embassy na mismo dito sa Pinas ng foreign citizen kukuha.
