Hi Eda! How should we use our work experience on our resume to enter the legal field as a Legal Assistant? Should we use chronological work experience or should we be job specific using work experience that relates to being a Legal Assistant? If it's 10 years or more and it relates to being a Legal Assistant should we use it? (i.e. Office Assistant)

@@fabulousfinances I would say create a story line versus a set of outlines skills. By that I mean within each position you have worked how did you utilize those skills to solve problems? At the end of the day legal professionals are problem solvers and customer service providers. So if you have those skills and have created successful outcomes with them, definitely highlight those accomplishments. Also converting your resume to a CV is probably a better option when looking to transition.
