I was a vehicle inspector in Texas, and if they had illegal tint, all they had to do was show me the paper work and they passed inspection

The easy way to pass inspection was to just give them $20 and call it a year

You can also register your vehicle as a “limo” which is not hard at all. Limos are legally allowed to have a tint of 5% in america.

i’d assume that would count as a business vehicle and you’d pay extra taxes on it

Where I live at you can have your entire windshield tinted to if you have a doctor's excuse for your eyes. I was visiting the next state over which is Ohio got pulled over one time showed them all my paperwork and was told I would have to peel it off because I didn't have a doctor's excuse from Ohio. Even though my car was registered in a neighboring state they still tried to make me peel it off because it wasn't a doctor out of Ohio. I told them that was like saying my driver's license wasn't valid in Ohio because I didn't take driver's education there! 😮😂

Im in nebraska and people have there windsheld tinted ik a kid tjat has 25 on his windsheld

In that case I would tell the cop, write me a ticket for it, I'll see you in court with my doctor and serve you with an ADA lawsuit

Never been pulled over for my tint here in Houston, 5% all around on my ss and I just pay a buddy to pass my inspection 😜😜

I’m in Massachusetts, and you have to submit an application with the doctors note to the RMV. And it works. They will send an exemption letter back to you and you keep that in your car. I have one for each registered vehicle.

I just got my vehicle tinted in California. 70 percent is legal for front windows . But the shop that tinted said even apply 70 percent tint is illegal because factory window comes with a slight tint so applying 70 percent tint makes it less then 70 so hence makes it illegal. So that's why they don't warranty front windows. There was also another customer that said even with the doctor not the judge still found her guilty. But hey the benefits of living in California

It's true my eye doctor told me to get darker tint on my car cuz I was diagnosed with light sensitivity in my eyes

In houston as long as you makethe cut for the registration stickers cops wont mind unless is a state trooper if you get a state trooper save for that ticket nothing cant save you

In some states do you have to get vehicle inspections on everything? We dont even do inspections here except if there are issues with your VIN.

It is different for every state. In Missouri we don't have to get safety as long as you car is less than 5 years old and under 150,000, but after you hit one of those two you then have to get safety and emissions every two years. Then when car hits 25 years old you only have to pass safety every 2 years, unless you have historic plates but there is a limit on how many miles you can put on the car per year when you have historic plates. And I'm sure there are more exceptions and restrictions. All that and that's just one state.

Leave 2-3 inches of the lip of the windo with no tint were they can't fit the windo tint checker on the windo and you'll be fine 👍

I just got a doctors note for $50 😂 I need it my head hurts cuz of the sun and got one of my cars inspected with 5% tints and the not actually works

Hey man I have a McLaren 720s spider I want tinted 5% all round but I want you to do double or even triple it if that’s possible inside and out all around it I called up there about it but how much would that cost in cash preferably?
