For most states, "self help" only serves to inform the Court of the pro SE litigants disposition. Unbundled legal services are not subject to confidentiality.

We should be taught in school the laws of the land. Or not be charged. Everyone should be given the opportunity to know all the laws. Since we keep making laws we cannot possibly keep up with them unless you went to years of sChooling.

Can you help me find a Forensic Document Examiner ? I can pay but I have emailed people from the Board of Forensic Document Examiners list but no one has replied. I need the Medical Records according to HIPAA for a spouse who died, the spouse did try to get them while alive. The records given to us are supposed to have been transcribed by an outside co. but the company STARTED THE WORK A MONTH LATER AND PRODUCED TWICE AS MANY PAGES as were given to us. The first Two pages seem forged: first page has the name of the transcriber and the invoice, the 2nd has name of the entity.

Good luck getting legal aid if you earn anything at all, and getting advise from a lawyer ($50 to $100) for a half hour is a complete waste of time, and money. They want $8,000 to $10,000 to sit with you for a short period of time in court. Pro se...all the way, forget an attorney as a "ghost writer". It won't happen in Oregon.... :-(

Thomas Vincent that is nuts! That is the problem with so many lawyers. If you find the right person you can get good advice. There are attorneys out there who are willing to help people without trying to pick their pockets. I know that there may not be too many, but they are out there.

Lawyers are outragous for average and poor people. May as well sell your home and car and pitch a tent someplace the police will chase you away and treat you like a criminal.
