Will C Well if you think about it, Elle broke Chutney down by having her reveal her emotionally driven hatred towards her stepmom. Had Elle not made those powerful points against Chutney, the cold exterior would have held up past most others who didn’t have such insight, and in terms of court, the defendant would be found guilty for lack of evidence proving her innocence. Of course, as a novice in law studies, I could err.
