it’s so sad that there were so many small, tell-tale signs that he didn’t care for her in the slightest. he left the house without her, he smiled when he broke up with her, and when she professed her undying love for him, he just heaved a great, big sigh. she was dealing with a sociopath. she should’ve punched him in the face instead of getting in his car! but then again, they are heels...

I love how kind elle is. the Whole movie, she is so nice and kind to everyone around her, even though they were kinda cruel to her. She maintains positivty, but doesn't take people mistreating her. she is a woman I want to be like.

I just realized - when Elle said “cheers to us” Warner did not take a sip, he held his glass up for a solid second, then shamefully set it down. I never really noticed that! (Sorry if this is a repeat comment)

Personally he was just patronizing her and only thinking of himself. Not to mention he was also one of those guys who only saw her and a dumb blonde to fool around with just so he could settle with a so called mature woman.
