Yeah I think the beginning sequence shows that as long as their uh... 'Holy Globules' are saved, they can be reborn into new bodies. So yeah, we will probably be seeing these guys again, which is just as likely as we will be seeing them die again. 😅

They're an exaggerated version of the space marine helmets from Warhammer 40,000, the whole thing is a lampoon of Games Workshop's WH40K. The whole scooping up all the kids on a world and using them as raw materiel to make new marines is what the Space Marine chapters really do in-universe though the cannon version is actually even more horrific if you can imagine that. "Space King" is just legally distinct Emperor of Mankind, the boobie alien is a Tyranid, the blue guys are the T`au. Can't wait to see how they do the Orks (obvious), Nekrons (egyptian themed space terminators) and Eldar (your basic space elves)
