Oh My Gosh! I so relate with this. Especially the realization that you are always fighting everything around you and don't realize these are the ghosts of trauma haunting you. Its a long journey looking for even ground but if you are committed to the journey you will heal and get to that level ground and then growth will start to show...

Learnt about toxic positivity today. Definitely been doing that and it has led to my disappointment showing up in other ways. I've also experienced that heightened sense of failure now when things don't work. Quite stressful. I think there's need to learn how to deal honestly and sincerely with life's disappointments.

Listening to Thiru I might be wrong, but I identify with the attention thing. That I discovered after some research means, as a child I got attention & recieved love through achievement. Thiru might be an enneagram type 3. There's lots of stuff I've unpacked as a result. Loved this feature. It was so honest, & very vulnerable What I love about this episode is, it doesn't end like some movie. He got the happy ending...like Diane said in bojack horseman. The final episode. Sometimes life sucks, but you keep living. It's how you allow your self awareness assist you to navigate through the ebs & flows.
