Hello we r staying in chawl frm 1962 as a tenant, our owner has taken on lease frm 1954 till 1984 on lease.After that he did not continue his lease AGREEMENT hence for ward,in 1994 another person comes and he buy the property frm original property owner.In 2013 the owner who buys property in1994 serves all the 30 structure who we occupied on that place give a notice through court belly.And said that they r the owner and u have to vacte the place.we fight for ten years,now he demand a messy profit on the structures. And want to do survey of each structures for taking Rent.sir can u reply me wht he will charge Rent frm all of us maharashtra rent Act

Gangopadhyay"s yesterdays order he has said that "interim stay/relief granted in one set of facts in a matter cannot be used in another case having different set of facts in the same matter" .Can I get a copy of similar order passed earlier in any case because Gangopadhyas order is still under scrutiny in Apex court from today.30/1/24

Apprantely, I don't agree with this SC judgement, i may not know the conplete facts, but it can be challenged if the trespasser is not paying rent since 1944 and if any other case of ownership is pending with original owner.

राएदीर को बिना उचित कानूनी कार्रवाई के समझौते की अवधि समाप्त होने से पूर्व नहीं निकाला जा सकता। मनमाना किराया नहीं बढाया जा सकता। किराएदार को निजता तथा शांतिपूर्वक रहने का अधिकार है।
