The 54 vs 85 absolutely slays me. I just cannot even fathom how a person did that and thought it would fly.

I thought the techs I went to just could never get my instrument intonated right. Come to find out, my dumb ass just has a sledgehammer of a downpick. Thanks for the info!

I have a 7-string and I absolutely cannot get the ball-end to hook into the retention thing, even when I put it so it's right under the hole as you suggest. Feel like I am going insane.

For those arriving here later, only tip I have (which still doesn't work that well) is drop the ball-end into the retention and then pull it back while tugging on the string. Might take a few tries per string. And you will need to keep the tuner pulled back (as in away from the bridge) a reasonable amount while you lock in the string at the nut.

yeah man for the life of me I cannot figure this thing out, I've got the strings off the guitar but now I cannot figure out how to get the ball ends to lock into the mechanism in order to tune it

do both truss rods tighten/loosen the same way. in my legator one truss came super loose and the other really tight and I dont want to under tighten it

Is there anything stopping a guy from boring it out for the 85's?
@reneebear3641 Жыл бұрын
I wouldn’t with the bridge hardware but for the nut locks it’d probably be fine, if I’m being honest that limitation for me is a deal breaker & I’d probably just go with the cheaper normal versions

They took it in with an 80 gauge and got back a 54? Well that answers my question. I was curious if the ghost could handle an 80 in the top end.

Just so you know It handles 80 fine, I personally run 84-9 in mine which I would recommend.

Hello, I have one of these guitars and I am having trouble with the lowest string buzzing. First question: is it possible to adjust the action on this guitar? I have not found out how to if so. Second question: can I reduce the buzzing by adjusting the truss rod on the top half?
@RTMvideos Жыл бұрын
I don't own one of these yet but you should be able to adjust the action from the bridge by lowering and raising the screws on the saddles, like on most other hardtail style bridges like these.

Can anyone help me? I changed a few strings on my guitar just fine but now I can't get the A string to tune down at all. It's just stuck and holding tension. The tuner comes completely off.

Worst bridge and nut I have ever had the misfortune to work with... I'm doing setup for a friend because the thing doesn't stay in tune and the high B keeps slipping... I'm pissed because the high string E already broke twice for no apparent reason, I'm not even over tightening the thing. it has no break angle as in the strandberg and doesn't have a metal disk to hold the high strings, I suspect thats the reason the strings break.

I bet the tech was an old guy. Old guys hate multi scale guitars with more than 6 strings. He tried to sabotage it n purpose, which included throwing dirt on it. I hate boomers.
