Magic, excitement, enchantments, wonders, imagination, romance, action, fantasy, thrills, and adventures. Legend, “Loved By the Sun,” that’s beautiful. What an enchanting melody for me to hear tonight. I’m a 90’s child and I still in a fantasy world of fairy tales. Nothing ceases to amaze me with magic. I never give up believing in fairies and magic with all my heart because I still refuse to grow up, and forget about the precious things I know, especially those from my childhood. No growing up, yuck! I am like Peter Pan and have his youthful spirit. My one and only wish is to keep the magic alive for all time and I also wish to be a fairy to stay strong, childlike, young, and beautiful forever and ever like Tinker Bell, and the other fair folks. Anything is real if you just believe. I’m more like a 16-year-old than a 34-year-old. Magical things happen, but only if you’re young at heart. Think happy thoughts to make you fly. All it takes is faith, trust and pixie dust. Believe in fairies and magic and never grow up 💫✨⭐️🌟🌠🌌🔮🪄🐉🐲🧝♂️🧝🧝♀️🧚🧚♀️🧚♂️🧞🧞♂️🧞♀️👺🧜🏽♂️🧜🧜♀️👹🐦🔥🧌🦄

I am a 90´s child. I saw Labyrinth and Willow but never seen this jem, until one day, in 2015 I was listening to a song from the Black Metal band Summoning: A distant Flame Before the Sun. In the end of that song there is a sample that plays Darkness quote: "Throught Dreams I influence mankind".. I googled it and took me to this movie. I HAD to watch it! LEGEND has a warm place in my heart and I am thankful that, withouth knowing, I could see it with the Tangerine Dream score which I just think it is perfect.

+Julie Martin Wallace The directors' cut is better too I think because in that version Jack and Lily are together and love one another, whereas in the original release it's implied that their relationship is basically platonic, which does nothing for my JackxLily love lol..
@JulieMartinWallace9 жыл бұрын
LadyAmalthia15 I watched the directors cut today to see what you meant and I agree the storyline is much better with the romance. I guess the original one was what I grew up watching so when I started watching the directors cut the music completely threw me off. I'm glad I gave it a 2nd chance.
@LadyAmalthia159 жыл бұрын
Julie Martin Wallace I owned the director's cut first and that's what I always watched over and over, then I got the released version and I got all confused because they cut out so much; they cut a huge section of Gump being creepy (seriously though, he creeped me out before I learned to love him lol), and I do believe the director's cut doesn't have Jack returning the horn the same way, just less dramatic I think ya know =)

Legend is a far better Fantasy movie than we first gave credit too. Now looking back, visually its just as impressive as anything that came after it. Arguably in many ways it supersedes that which has followed it. Practical set pieces seen in several films but dressed in a way that look magical in camera. This film looks rich and analog, where as todays films look digital. As an industry animator vfx artist im well aware of the shortcomings of cgi when done wrong. Unfortunately the scale and budget of todays productions could almost never see to production set pieces being practical. just far too much work and too much cost vs the timeframe of production delivery. in other words you cant have a pizza in the oven but for so long or it will burn. but glory to those films of the past that achieved great things. Ironically Legend was to be a much larger film and production had its practical set and sound stage had not burned down before the end of shooting. i cant even begin to think what this movie wouldve been had the fire not happened. what a cinematic loss. kzbin.info/www/bejne/q4W6lIRubs2JeKs
