Legend of the Double Dragon v1.5 - Secret Character Playthrough

In this video I walk you through how to unlock the secret characters, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the Battletoads. Keep in mind, these characters are Easter eggs, so there isn't too much depth to them. I play with all of them in this video so you can see all their moves. Lastly these characters are only available in the Story Mode branch and nowhere else in the game. Enjoy! :)

This makes me wish he was doing what hes doing with Ultimate Double Dragon, but with Battletoads for an Ultimate Battletoads and Double Dragon with Battletoads also having crazy combos. A man can dream haha.

I've always felt that Double Dragon shared a better connection with the Turtles than they did with Battletoads. They both rose to popularity at almost exactly the same time, and to be honest, Battletoads wasn't really a great game.

Turtles fighting people instead of can openers! Wow, they redid the attack animations for the Turtles too. And Rash's kick is definitely something he picked up from the Double Dragons.

I tried the unlocking method in v3 (Ultimate Double Dragon), it brought out a black cat instead. At least the Easter egg was referenced in the current private build.

Legend of the double dragon is my favorite game right now. That said, I really hope after all the ultimate double dragon stuff is over that we get a full tmnt game in the same vain.

The turtles sprites from arcade is a bit big compared to other characters, maybe it would be better to use sprites from snes version.
