Lol! Thanks. that actually comes from trying to get the perfect Mission 1 run. It took almost a thousand tries, so quitting, starting and selecting is something I got really fast at because I was constantly starting over. I have to stop my self from doing this. If the UDD beginning cut-scenes take as long as the LOTDD ones, I'll be waiting 3 mins before I can try again. I can't play like that. To stressful. But rest assured the gameplay will be good.

@H20Sniper Yes and no. UDD is the sequel or truest version of the original vision the dev had. The video your commenting on now is actually a really old demo of UDD. I have newer ones on my channel front. Also, the dev actually released the First full version just a few days ago. The name is Mau Herrera. His channel is on my homepage too. I will also say to your last comment, you will find this game much much more challenging than Legend. This game has even more moves than Legend. It's all for fun and player expression. There's no such thing as too many moves in a fighting game or beat em up game. For the same reason there is no such things as too many cars in racing game. That's just silly. This game has a lot of depth and can keep you playing for years if you want to. And it's free.

Just came from ArcTheLadder's comment section and saw someone as hyped as me (more hyped even) about Legend and Ultimate Double Dragon so had to check it out. Instant sub! I don't get hyped easily over games anymore, but this looks like a masterpiece in the making so I can't help myself. Like you said, it's like making your own action movie the way you want, and it looks like it has a satisfying flow to it. I'm going to see about donating to the author, because I want this to be as complete as it can possibly be. Also, your style is impressive. Keep up the fight!

I feel pretty sure we almost have enough for the new 5 DD2 enemies to be in a future legacy mode. Right now donations are going toward development of mission cut scenes.

Yeah I got that run after almost a thousand tries, so your welcome. The evasion kick around the knife was hardest to get consistently. Especially since I was relying on the chance of the AI acting correctly and not my own ability. I swear I'm not gonna put myself through something like that again. I takes too long lol.

Yup. That move is based off of Q's Super art from Street Fighter 3. Its the SBM sub-system attack that does the most damage. I'm still lucky Steve didn't block it. :)

Bro I grew up on this game as our number one go to (me and my brother). These edits are most fire game I've EVER seen. You took the essence KEPT IT WHOLE INTACT AND UNDEFILED and MAXIMIZEDDDDDD to the ABSOLUTE LIMIT. I will be dontaing. Hello there. I can tell that you are new here and are quite excited by what you see. This project is an openbor fan game that has been in the making for over ten years now. Its PC digital download only and will never be produced for sale of any kind. Its developed almost entirely by one person. Mau Herrera's the name. His channel is on my front page. If you want to donate, I've linked his site in the description, as I have with all videos. This particular video is quite old by now. A good bet has changed in the game, all for the better. As for the music, there are actually two composers. The 16-bit style renditions were composed by the developer's little brother, Patricio (Pat) Herrera. His channel link is in my front page too. There music you are hearing in this particular video was done by Krauser of Krauser Productions. Again, his channel link in my front page. Me, well, I'm not a developer, but I've been friends with the devs since the very beginning of this project. I've followed, played and tested every demo and have contributed alot to certain aspects of the game. Some would say I'm their "champion player" lol! Most people that find this project find it through my videos as mine get the most amount of views against everyone elses. I pride myself on being extremely skillful and making this game look fun. hmmm, your asking the wrong man for that my friend but hey, I'm glad I got you excited. Its probably gonna talk a long time for those extra enemies to get paid off. Maybe he might release the game SDD story as a base version. But I'm just a fan, speculating like everyone else. I do know that there is gonna be a major announcement relating to the demo soon. You're going to have to better explain your problem in order for me to help you. If you're getting a " The operation failed" error, then that might have to do with something about your computer on your end. I just downloaded from the site again I opened the executable inside the RAR file and it played fine...

Indeed, but this demo is 3 years old. Newer demos are a bit easier. Enemies do a little less damage and are a less aggressive. I also put myself at more risk of attack because I always try to perform stylish combos all the time. 😅 However, Mission 7 enemies are about as bad as you see here, and its gonna get even harder once you reach the final boss.😬

Its typically meant for PC, but it will work any device that supports Openbor. I know some androids do it, and if your savy you could break into a PSP or PS3/4 to do it, but I have no idea how to do that. so there you go.

@@TheRealest127 I have no clue. Apple products typically don't have a good reputation for playing games. Also the less connectivity you have the less options you have to hook up a controller. Which I strongly recommend if you want to play this game well. So good luck.

Yes, Mauricio is a few months away from releasing the final version and I'm super excited. Please keep in mind that the first mission of this playthrough was practically choreographed. It took me hundreds of tries to make it look the way it did. To make it look as good as it did. To make it look as "easy" as it did. I'd like to know what you mean when you talk about the "lack of challenge" to this game cuz' a lot of people consider me a pretty good player and it can be super difficult to be stylish like this. The Abobo family is brutal with their fast long range attacks, Linda (in the new demo) is a pain in my side with her throwing stars and whip, and the Steve and the Gunguy can take half your health with one shot from their pistols. Most people have said the game is super hard already, so i'm not seeing where the lack of challenge is. You have a lot of lives but there are no health or food pickups in the game like in Double Dragon, and there is NO SAVE feature in this game. Making the game even more difficult in an old school 90's snes game way. I would like to say you should think of playing this game the same way you would play Devil May Cry. (3,4 or 5) You could beat the game easily with simple combos yes, but it really wouldn't be any fun. The point is to try to be as "stylish" as you can without being pummeled to death. Now THAT is difficult. And it is also where the fun factor lies. Even with all these offensive and defensive tools, the enemies in this game have an answer for all of them.

@@nklopez56 you said it all... I'm also someone who is recognized for their game skills so I understand exactly what you mean.... and you seem to understand exactly what I'm talking about. My only thing is the meter charges way too fast. Mind you the original meter charges way slower and is just as easily chargeable but takes too long. If you challenge yourself by playing the game with style then yea I can easily see the difficulty. Less time to calculate safe attacks. Either way it looks fun. I'm just not a fan of mods that feel like mods. And the only thing that makes it feel like a mod is the "ULTRA ULTRA" Killer instinct sound bite. I fully respect the mod so I am knit picking just shown show it didnt leave me speechless. Nothing is perfect but it's as damn near as it gets. Anything more should be a welcomed add on at this point

Go to my 0.8 M7 no death run, you will see her a little there. Unfortunately, due to time and other stuff going on for me, I haven't been able to make playthroughs of either the 0.3 or 0.8 demo. So you might have to watch other players play to see more of her. Once the game is fully finished is when I will start make true playthrough vids. I recommend you subscribe the the developers channel and watch some of his runs too. You will see more Linda there... among other new enemies! ;)

Estoy en desacuerdo. No sé de quién es la idea de "magia" que estás hablando, pero seguro que no pertenece al desarrollador de este mod. El hombre ha trabajado durante 10 años para traer algo nuevo y espectacular a Double Dragon, así como al género beat'em up en general, y que me aspen si voy a jugarlo como si tuviera el mismo estilo antiguo y aburrido. mecánica de hace 30 años. Mr.Q creó un personaje muy básico con muy pocos movimientos especiales. Es el "OG Dragon" y como puedes ver... casi nadie ve ese video. Ha estado activo durante 2 años y no puede romper dos mil visitas. La magia de este juego son los combos. Nadie me va a decir lo contrario. Algo más para mencionar es que, aunque hago que estos parezcan fáciles, es muy, muy difícil conseguir algunos de estos combos, especialmente con la presión de otros enemigos que intentan detenerme. Además, esta demostración es bastante antigua. Los combos Killer Instinct ya no te vuelven invencible mientras los realizas. Ahora tienes que preocuparte de que te ataquen mientras haces esos combos difíciles. La recompensa está en el desafío. Así que me desafío a mí mismo a usar cada movimiento que hizo Mr.Q para este juego porque es genial. Me tomó más de 1000 intentos crear esa Misión 1 coreografiada. Así que disfrútala, ya que no sé si puedo seguir torturándome para hacer carreras perfectas.

Its gotten my 930 subs so far and will probably get me past a 1000. ;) But to your question, yes, I have thought about changing a lot about my appearance here on KZbin. I'm not exactly ready to "go pro" yet. I would have to come up with something good to make a proper "brand" out of myself and that takes a lot of consideration. It will come in the future for sure, but its going to be a long way off. The current "demon" your looking at is just the album art cover from Malevolent Creations' 2010 album "Invidious Dominion". Yes, the greens and browns don't look super appealing, but Its who I am right now. I actually cut the monster out and have used a higher quality png of it as "myself" in some of the new videos. So get used to it for now. I will find something better in the future as well as a name change maybe. Just know that I'm about to make partner and I am no where near even beginning to take my channel serious yet. So I would stay subbed if I were you. :)
