(D&D history)_** ~* For some pre-CR history... - a.) *Origins ~* Debuting *2004* under the Eberron Campaign Setting, of D&D 3.5 edition *(2003-2008),* The Traveler was technically a "dark god" as a member of The Dark Six, Eberron's Evil-aligned Pantheon. However, The Traveler was not actually Evil-aligned; The (Eberron) Traveler was/is _Chaotic Neutral,_ lumped with in The Dark Six because The Traveler refused to blithely obey the strictures of the Sovereign Host, Eberron's Good-aligned Pantheon. - b.) *Refined ~* D&D 4th edition *(2008-2014)* saw The Traveler updated into an independent deity separate from Eberron, and into a definitively Neutral-aligned god (again, _Chaotic Neutral)._ 2. *_Who is Artagan the Traveler? (Critical Role / campaign-world Exandria)_** ~* Artagan the Traveler is one of the immortal ArchFey Lords of the Feywild dimension/realm of the _Exandria_ (D&D) Multiverse. Artagan in his ArchFey form is depicted as a broadly androgynous being (usually an elf-type), though nominally male for simplicity of reference (Artagan is a shapeshifter and does not actually care about gender either way). - a.) *Raw Power vs. Power Use ~* As an ArchFey, Artagan is, "technically" (note "quotations"), *very* powerful, only a few short steps below deity-level power; this is visually depicted in-cartoon by Artagan's starry-filled eyes (8:28). That being said... *;)* - a.) *Existent Foundation(s) -* Exandria does feature a number of ArchFey lords of the Fey Realm, both established D&D 5e ArchFey and independent ArchFey created by Dungeon Master Matt Mercer. - b.) *Fjord (Travis Willingham) vs. Jester Lavorre (Laura Bailey) -* On the other hand, Bailey's original character concept for Jester was that of an ArchFey Pact Warlock, though not necessarily Pact-bonded with Artagan the Traveler. However, Willingham expressed a strong desire to play a Warlock himself, so Bailey relented to play a Trickery Domain Cleric of the Traveler. And the rest is [CR Campaign #2] history... *:)*

When voicing multiple characters you typically voice one character oje day and then the other a different day (at least from my experience, never done anything professionally so it might be different) But when you are "talking to yourself" in one go, it doesn't typically feel weird since your mind just switches from one character mindset to another. it can be exhausting more than strange as you switch from one emotional state to another while the two characters interact

I don;t get it, why was grog, pike and scanlan separated in the show, but not in the game

For the sake of time. They are compressing dozens and dozens of episodes of 3-5 hour games into 12-episode seasons of 30 minute episodes. For the sake of brevity they split the party and sent the most important characters for the respective arcs into each location before bringing them back together for the finale.
