I’m so glad that you’re giving my favorite Zelda villain attention! Thank you! I’ve always loved Ghirahim’s creepiness but hated how people brush it aside in favor of “lol he horny” Like he may give off that sort of feeling, it’s clear to see he’s more than that. He’s rather unhinged and has made brutal threats to Link multiple times (“I’ll beat you within an inch of your life” or “I’ll make you deaf with the sound of your own shrill screams”) He feels more like a sadist and narcissist to me than anything else, really So I’m very glad to see a legitimate non-joke work like this about him. Also, he reminds me of Graz’zt from D&D, except Ghirahim is like a less horny Graz’zt, who focuses even more on the cruel hatred that fuels a demon.

There's _so_ many villains who have queer-like traits, since those traits are traditionally seen as "bad" or "weird." On the one hand it makes the villains way cooler than the heroes which is why I tend to gravitate towards them more. On the other hand, I hate that queer traits are seen as "villainous." We deal with enough stigma as is, and this kind of thing is meant to normalize hating queer people or seeing their behaviors and traits as "wrong."
