Ducky Duck RSC this was before I learned them. Glitches are allowed in runs of this category. They are not treating. It takes better execution to do the glitches than not to. This run is so outdated but gets more views than my 28:57 any% no up A run lol

Most speed run fans accept and use and like warp screen but I respect and appreciate not seeing it used. As Zelda 2 100% unofficial previous holder I never submitted at 1.16.37 i think speed running on Zelda 1 n Zelda link to past harder speed runs. I'm close to beating all 3 in 4.30 which is my goal and enjoy your un perfect video very much. Kudos to you and all other Zelda speed runners and to SDA

It's quite a bit easier as an adult. I remember playing Zelda as a kid and I mean it was fun. but hell if I could figure out any of this stuff. I've found that when I went back and replayed some of these games, they were much easier than I remember. In hindsight, I think Nintendo should've had an age recommendation for games not for violence or whatever, but just simply for complexity. Some of these games like Zelda I think are just a little too much for a kid who is like eight years old like I was.

Alex ander in the Instruction Booklet, it states certain rooms has a “master” and if you kill one all dies. In the speedrun, we see it twice. Level 6 in the first room on the left, it happens as well.

Legend of Zelda 2 no, 100% speedruns means you get 100% of the items. That includes the blue ring.

was nice, i wish the runner got the blue ring first, for even more completion dunno if thats a rule, but i dont care about fansite rules, i always wish for 100% completion when i play the game (i dont do speedruns) i always get the blue ring early, so i dont get much damage, heh.... just a habit, like getting white sword before doing 2nd or 3rd dungeon or so

Harold Rhea ah, you dont know me yet see, i dont look at site rules, i look at what i prefer, and getting blue ring is more to 100% in my opinion that people follow sites is their decision, but not always my preference see? its just my opinion and personal preference, its jut that people reply like you do mostly, as if a site tells everyone what the rules are, while some also make own rules atm i'm looking for a nice challenge on youtube, with majora's mask 100% except hearts.... so a 100% 3 heart challenge havent seen it yet, and youtube cant search well, so looking for a run which is exactly like that, is hard also, i dont say its bad that you didnt get the ring, i was just hoping you'd get it, thats all :)

Whats even funny about Zelda for the NES, is that 100% is very hard to define. Now lets say you get the big shield and lose it, would you have to get it again? Its just a very touchy category. SDA (I know you dont' care about websites and you do your own thing which is fine and dandy) doesn't even accept submissions for 100%. The only fault with getting the blue ring quickly in a run, is to hope you get lucky in the money making game, cause of the cost of it. One would have to get this before doing a level. Do you approve of the glitches used, screen scrolling and Block clips?

Harold Rhea the glitches you used are acceptable, imo glitches which let you skip half the dungeons, wouldnt i think wind waker has such, they just skip alot of areas in each dungeon by going through walls by glitching in majora's mask i think it was, there were a few, but the one i saw didnt skip as much as the wind waker did, so i did enjoy it the secret of mana glitch (SNES game, in case someone doesnt know) is bad imo, you kill all bosses with 1 smash or so, thats game breaking and way too easy to call it a nice run... more like a rush, what i call it so i accept glitches, as long as you dont skip half the game, or kill enemies instantly.... at least not in runs on youtube, i'd do it myself, i think (just not always) imo, there still needs to be gameplay enough to enjoy it

It’s not cheating. A cheat is using a game genie or save states via emulators. It’s an exploit in the gridding system that the game uses. Take out the grid and you can do any of the glitches.
