It's a good thing Sebastian was not part of history because if he had been and Mary had been a queen who was choosing the best possible outcome she would have married him instead. Not out of love or choice in the matter but because the line of succession would have reverted upon the death of the previously accended line. It would have ensured a security for their brothers that she herself was not afforded as a child

Cara, uma coisa que me intriga cadê Bash e sua promessa a Mary? ele diz acho que no final da 3 temporada que irá voltar pra ela quando ela mais precisar, ai acaba a série ela sendo decapitada e nenhuma notícia dele a não ser um mensageiro que disse a ela sobre a gravidez de seu filho que unirá a Escócia com Inglaterra e também disse que seu espírito estava ligado ao dele o que quer dizer? o mensageiro não deixou nada claro se ele havia morrido ou algo do tipo apenas insinuou pois nem ele sabia o que tinha acontecido, Será que Bash não voltou por conta que iria mudar o rumo da história já que essa história é baseado em fatos reais? eu francamente tinha esperanças que Bash voltaria pra salvar Mary de sua decapitação e eles fugissem juntos pois ele jurou que voltaria pra ela, não entendi. Dude, something that intrigues me Bash and his promise to Mary? he says I think at the end of season 3 that he will return to her when she needs it most, there ends the series being decapitated and no news of him but a messenger who told her about the pregnancy of her son that will unite Scotland with England and also said that his spirit was connected with his meaning? the messenger left nothing clear if the had died or something of the sort just hinted as he did not even know what happened, Did Bash not come back because it would change the course of history since this story is based on real facts? I frankly hoped that Bash would come back to save Mary from her decapitation and they would flee together because he swore he would return to her, I did not understand.

Stephen Andrew Bash dies, that’s why Rizzo delivers the message to Mary. Bash was there in spirit when she needed him most, Mary was unsure on whether or not to marry Darnley but the prophecy of her son uniting both England and Scotland swayed her into marrying Darnley, which was one of the biggest decisions/mistakes of her life. So you see it would have been impossible for Bash to save Marry because he died offscreen in season 4, they don’t say how he dies so I’m still wondering what happened myself. To be honest I always thought Mary and Bash would have made a better couple than Mary and Francis, so it made me really sad that I didn’t get a chance to see them end up together.

It always amazes me how Bash didn't give a crap about his brother at all once he displaced him, but somehow Bash is supposed to be the good guy? I thought he was a creep. He redeemed himself later, but what a jerk.
