The payout structure is the same as it was back in GTAO. My theory was always that by reducing the player reward for speedy completion, it prevents players from getting what they want too quickly, thereby subtly encouraging them to instead perhaps buy gold / shark cards to speed up the process. It's a predatory tactic, they've tested the formula and it works. I actually doubt it has anything to do with bugs at all.

I'd say it's also discouraging cheating/exploits by making them less profitable. Look at GTAO world records of races and flying school missions for example, they are all full of ridiculous scores like 0.0001s for best lap or 999999 points.

Yeah same thing with the legendary bounty cool down. There are barriers in the game that stop you from playing as much as you want. It's almost like a phone game. I'm surprised they haven't given you an option to pay gold if you want to bypass the cool down timer.

A tip for anyone doing Etta Doyle, at somepoint over the course of the last few updates I found she can now escape being hogtied on the back of your horse and this would lead to failing the bounty when I would AFK waiting for time to pass. An easy work around I figured out was to call in your bounty wagon while near the police station and put her in the back of it, since bounties captured and placed in the wagon CANNOT ESCAPE IN ANY WAY this was alot easier to do and just park the wagon in the police station stables and open up the catelog for 25mins (since the sequence of waiting for the REAL Etta Doyle to be revealed while in the shipping yard is Approx 5mins. Alternatively if you wait until the gang is fleeing and capture her then, so long as you don't interupt the AI's pathing back to their horses you should be able to hogtie her without getting shot, then walk to the rear of the shipping yard (where the large metal gates are) and call in the bounty wagon there, throw her in the back and just ride the wagon round to the police station, park up and open the catalogue to count down the rest of the 30 min timer.

I put her in my wagon and just drove her to different towns to pass time. I eventually took her to Strawberry. No one chases you and it's less boring than just sitting still for 30 minutes.

If you want gold, run any stranger mission, story missions or bounties for the "12 minutes", keep jumping from job to job. For cash, do collecting, moonshine, trader and run bounties while waiting for your goods to be made.

I think the fastest way to farm all gold-cash-xp is at the elimination series (last stand tomahawk, knife, bow). Just avoid being killed for 11 mins. Finish 2nd with 0 kill will reward you 0.48G $60 1400XP. Be the last stand with just 1 kill 0.72G $79 1900-2100XP. Good news is it works with only 2 players in lobby too

you are absolutely right: Another view: Now you are earing 337,50 $ in Edda Doyle staying 30 Min. But you are loosing in 30 Min ~110 $ cause moonshiner doesnt produce and ~97 cause trader doesnt produce. So hat the end the payout isnt really good. If you consider that 10 Min even look better, i stay 12 cause of the gold payout.

I always thought the same, but that's kinda wrong. Bounty hunting is my favorite thing in the game so I do that a lot. Eventually I realized I make good money, up to $4-500/h while having fun. As a trader it takes a lot more time and work to make $500. Obviously the most profitable is the collector, but I'd rather play the game than watch YT on my phone while my horse takes me to the next collectible. So you definitely should play BH if that's what you like, while also making a lot of money. After a month I'm at the point where there's nothing left to buy with $ except for bullets and mash. And carrots.

@@High_Monk of course bounty hunter is the best role in terms of gameplay and grinding gold but for example in the trader role you can fill Cripps in 20mins and go deliver your moonshine or play pvp or collect cards and eggs or even play some bounty missions. So when you play bounty hunter you should focus on grinding gold because it's the only role with gold earning

frankly, i spend about 20 mins hunting in each legendary bounty, just filling up my hunting wagon with 3 star carcasses, then finish the mission within 10 mins for max payout and full hunt.

Wow, cant believe how inconsistent bounty missions are. I learned from Blood money (I grinded for Bounty) that i should take more then my own time and always get a great payout. Now, i did that, and the mission failed cause i took too long. Figured its speed running time. Did the Wolf Man mission, speed ran, lassoed the dude, hogtied ran from the wolves. 27 dollars... I would like to see a simpler structure for bounty payouts, similar to story mode. Clearly shown RDO$, and perhaps a sliding RNG from .32~.54 Gold guaranteed. The cool down timer is already in place, so it's already impossible to hit all the bounty boards and spam out 10+ legendary per hour as it is, the arbitrary timer that scales payouts is just silly imo.

Amazing how the standard bounty missions force you to speed so fast, that you can't even enjoy the mission as you often find yourself down to the wire trying to deliver your bounty against the short timer. Then legendaries want you to take as long as possible, why is this game so weird.

Actually this has probably all been said but i will say it anyway the reason payout is higher for longer time spent is due to the industry. Audience retention is important so the industry gives the incentive to make missions last longer for higher payout

Even after 10-12 minutes the payput multipliers are still better than the regular bounties and there is a long cooldown so I always just take my time and make sure I dont spend longer than 30 minutes.

0.48 to me isn't worth it for 30 mins, I'm enjoying roaming around now and giving low level players legendary pelts as I have 700 gold and 50k money while there is nothing to spend it on 😂 sometimes I'll do triple payout on Featured Series when it's on but no rush as I doubt they will add anything worth spending anytime soon 🤠

Hi PVP cat i think your maths is wrong for this because you got to take into account the 45 min cooldown. So a 9 minute mission is actually 0.24 gold divided by 54 minutes = 0.044 per min but a 30 minute mission is actually 0.48 gold divided by 75 minutes = 0.064 per minute.

Great video, I’ve noticed bonuses when doing bounties in a posse either as a member or leader. With the double payouts this week I’ve received 495 for being in the posse and as much as $554.40 for being the leader of a 4 man posse and handing in the target ( is there a hidden multiplier for handing in the target when in a posse???) I tested this on Virgil Edwards 5 star / 30 minutes during double payouts this week. When solo I only get $450

when did you do this testing? this week the normal legendaries got a 50% bonus which is why you got 50% more at 10 minutes, it'd still be 50% more at 30minutes, in which case 30 minutes is still best for xp and cash from legendary bounties
