Quick tip for people without the upgraded lasso. Lasso the bounty up first then knock them out with a kick. it won't kill them but it will keep them from escaping for a alot longer then just tying them up. Happy to let ya'll know

The Bounty Hunter role was the first one I chose. When I first saw the main cutscene I didn’t have enough gold (which is odd because I’ve got my Social club & twitch accounts linked but anyway) I got a slightly different cutscene than yours because I didn’t have enough gold. Which was interesting. And tbh, even though you don’t get much money from the standard Bounties, I’m still enjoying the role.

In my opinion bounty hunter got the best rewards & cosmetics. Also if you wait to bring in the bounty in 30 seconds alive you make way more xp. When going after two bounties just kill them both put one on your horse & drag the other with the lasso till you purchase a wagon in the future. Beware of npc coming after you just kill them off & continue to drag your other dead bounty by the lasso so you don't have to make two trips back & forth.

You know you can detach the npc wagon horse. Use a knife to cut the lease or just crash the wagon and one of the horses will live. Put the other bounty on that horse, and another bounty on your horse, have your horse follow you, then go to the destination. If it’s 2 bounties but they keep sending enemies non stop. Then put 1 bounty on your horse, lasso the other one and just drag that bounty (he/she will die) to your destination.

Grinded to be a millionare so much that I had to quit my job. I worked there for 15 years and had a 401k. So thankful for your video that explains how I can earn small dollar amounts collecting small amounts of measly game to donate to my struggling small business. I've taken up bounty hunting to help save to buy enough ammo that I keep burning through in wild west gunfights. People are just random murdering people in the streets of small towns. Trying to grind hunting in remote parts of the map while also retaining your manhood and never playing defensive mode it can sometimes be infuriating to be minding your own business and then getting shot from a mountain top peak but some shithead 16 year old... I think your title is a tad bit overstated and perhaps you could just try to explain the meta of RDO as it is currently.

Yep it works. In the beginning you'll get like 9 bucks a bounty but stick with it. as you level your role up the bounty's get tougher and they pay out more I went from 9 bucks a bounty to 32 bucks for bringing in two bounties at once as well bring in entire gangs which I've not done those yet. So I can't say the payout for whole gangs.

Tried it out earlier, had fun and think the update is great, BUT feel the payout could AT LEAST be like 25 dollar a head. All those bounty hunter unlocks cost a lot of money. If you can’t afford them simply from your bounty hunting profits it kind of defeats the whole point of bounty hunting. I don’t want to have to go grind hunting and fishing which I already done for months just to be able to afford all the unique role outfits, guns etc.

@Racie McMuffins If you have the Outlaw pass which gives +25% more xp per mission, and you do a bounty mission where you have to get 2 targets, you will get around 450 xp each time. I was doing it with a friend and we were getting a good amount of xp each time and around 20-30 dollars
