True, cause not many with that many losses including losing a one sided loss to his rival , getting literally spit to sleep in the ring as well as stopped by body shots get considered goat status. Yeah he's the last old school fight anybody kind. One of if not the best
@3Brandon113 жыл бұрын
When fighters don't fight each other, it's not always a sign of ducking. In fact, more often than not it's just that they aren't able to work out the details. There are promoter contracts, scheduling conflicts, fighters moving up and down in weight etc. I mean Crawford and Soto called out Pac and he said no. Freddie Roach even said in an interview that he had to refuse Sugar Shane twice because Pac wouldn't have been able to beat him at that age. Canelo said he'd fight Pac at a catch weight. Paul Williams said that he would go back down to 147 to make a Pacquiao fight happen. None of those fights happened even though we wanted to see them as fans. That's not necessarily ducking, things just don't always work out. Heck for the longest time PacMan rarely fought anyone outside of Top Rank.

Floyd will be remembered as the greatest defensive fighter and the richest but in 20 years it will be PACQUIAO's name that will be spoken and remembered as one of the greats! 50-0 with one being an asterisks against 8 division champ and 5 lineal championship a philanthropist, a boxer who changed the culture and gave respect back to boxing. a boxer that not only just gave back to his country and people but the world over, a boxer that is internationally recognized for his work in and out of the ring !!!!! THATS GREATNESS!!!!!!

Manny Pacquiao will go down as one of the greatest boxers in the lower weights.

It’s a shame that we never got to see Manny fight Floyd in his prime. He’s the one fighter that Floyd was scared to fight until he was past his prime.

Is that why in 2009-2010 manny didnt want to drug test and Floyd wanted to fight hmmm. Floyd beats manny anytime it wouldn’t be easy but Floyd boxing iq. Tactical genius manny would’ve went out swinging tho it would’ve been amazing

You must not be a boxing fan. This simply isn't true. Both parties are to blame, and at least on two occasions, it's all on Manny. Refused drug testing, and didn't want to split the purse 50/50 with Mayweather. He wanted the majority during that round of negotiations. Manny is a top tier legend. But let's not pretend he fought everbody either
@jerycsschwartz69033 жыл бұрын
@@skorge987987 it's not about older. Manny got over 70 fights. Floyd got 50. Why do some fans think it's just about age only? 🤔

How can you compare Manny to Floyd? You can’t. Unless you compare a heart of the fighter. For me, Pacquiao has the biggest heart of all. It shows in his record. It shows in his replays. And it shows in people’s opinion about him. Manny is a legend, a myth, and an honest human being. The greatest fighter, up there with Ali. Hands down, heart up. Always and no question about it.

Manny Pacquiao is the greatest boxer of all time. He's the first and only 8 divisions champion in boxing history and dominated the sport for almost 3 decades. It's time for him to retire and he's too old to fight any young boxer.

He's not too old, he's just at a disadvantage at this point but his speed makes up for him. He can piece a few guys up still, just probably not the top top guys anymore.

Lies, Manny Pacquiao only was a 6 division champion of 6 Major belts. A 7th was a secondary IBO belt . And an 8th was a lineal title, at the time when 3 other champions had belts and the 4th major belt was vacant that he didn't fight for.
