This was the first deck building game that I've purchased and absolutely love it. It has also spawned a greater interest in that style of gaming and have since added Sentinels of the Multiverse, Marvel Legendary, and Shadowrun Crossfire to my collection.

Great vid! I think the scaling for # of players issue can be helped by adding more drones into the game. It seems people are ignoring that choice. I also, may have enjoyed lifted movie images for the game better, not that I hate the way it is or anything.

Thanks for this it will be interesting, I love the Aliens movies so I was really interested when this came out, but other card games I've purchased haven't hit that enjoyment factor I get from board games, my love of the theme is screaming "buy it" and my card game experience is sitting on my shoulder saying "don't do it"

+Metal Mouth Media - Marvel Legendary is a good deck building game as is Thunderstone Advance. This game here is stand alone (sort of 4 games in one) and an Expansion just came out called Predator I think. I don't have it though. You could check out Boardgamegeek for more deck builders - it's a really good site for anything you want to know or find out about board or card games.

+Metal Mouth Media - Predator is available. It's a stand alone (like Alien is a stand alone). And you can use cards of a game with the others (there are special rules for it). French speaking, I hope you can understand.

my question is, and doesnt look like you explain it, how do you actually set up the different piles and decks, like the strike deck, the hatchery, and whatnot.......

Hatchery is a face up static deck so no need to do anything with it. The strike deck is just all strike cards shuffled together and then face down. There are three acts, I guess you call them, to each of the four movies. You take act 1, shuffle in a number of random drone deck cards equal to the number of players and shuffle it. It's the top of the pile. Do the same for act two, put it under act 1, then act 4 under act 2 and away you go! Thanks for watching along!

What card sleeves do you use?

I use Ultra Pro penny sleeves - they fit a bit big, but they are pretty sturdy and cheap. Thanks for watching along!

i have the same sleeves. The little space is good for me because can protect better the cards that are very thick and weak. That sleeves are cheap too.
