Fantastic! I'm glad you went back and revisited Al Kauser! The 'game over' thing to order there is galoti/kakori wrapped in varqi parantha OR kakori in a smaller roomali. Now you need to revisit Pandara and hit up Havemore (again), Gulati or Pindi. But this time with a commenter who knows the food and the place inside out and not a Mother Dairy's Cow Ghee commenter. Trivia: Kakori kebab came from the kitchen of Nawab Syed Mohammad Haider Kazmi, lord of Lucknow in the Kakori district.

This is THE place to eat in Delhi. There are thousands of tastes in the city, but this is the most exquisite combo of flavour and texture. I used to live in Model Town, and had to make the long trip to this place to taste these. But then, my luck was such that I got into JNU, which meant weekly trips to this place to have kakori kebabs. This is what I want to be my last meal.

Kakori kebab isn't as widely known to people. Looks like a Seekh, but much finer! Almost on heavenly proportions finer! Hence those are my favorite. When in hyderabad, the 'Pathar ka Gosht' is a divine delicacy! you gotta try those some time as well..
