The greatest place for food in the Philippines, Kapampangan Province. Is it true? I Really am not sure, but I will say they do set the bar very high for Filipino food. Some just unreal home cooked meals in this video!
Started off at the legendary Aling Lucing Sisig. Probably most famous for guest like Anthony Bourdain. However, this was no overhyped spot. Instead it exceeded my expectations with a just pure insanely delicious Sisig.
After my pork coma wore off from lots of walking, I went to a spot that is only open for a few hours in the day! Taldawa is cooking up some traditional Filipino dishes with some not so usual proteins. The amazing owner/cook really made the experience unique for me as she is pure joy. However, that isn’t the only reason people flock to here. Their Goat Sinigang was a dish I will never be able to forget!
Next up I took a ride out to Clark to eat at a restaurant recommended to me by a friend. With decor like my grandma’s home I was first confused, but then came out that Filipino comfort food and all was right with the world.
Lastly, and just like every other day in Angeles, I had to swing by Susie’s Cuisine. I loaded up on some sweets and indulged until I was cranking on a caffeine and sugar high that I wouldn’t come down from until the next day.
An unreal start to Kapampangan Province, but since it is supposedly the best, that means I had to make two videos here, so stay tuned for the next video!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just a guy from Arkansas chasing his dreams of traveling the world, meeting amazing people, and trying all the delicious food I can find!
Recently finished working in Hong Kong. I am from a small farm in the states, I am now taking advantage and the opportunities I have to travel the world in search of some of the most delicious foods, unique places, and friendliest people.
A lover of street food, good laughs, and learning about other cultures. I hope to indulge in all these things and more as I bring you along with me on my epic journeys.

That list would be endless lol...like yourself I love sisig, and bakang sinigang (beef), but also chicken relleno (stuffed chicken), Laing (made of dried taro leaves cooked with pork belly, coconut milk, and chili peppers), dynamite lumpia (finger chili pepper with meat and cheese spring rolls), pancit palabok (noodles), pinakbet (vegetable stew made with long beans, eggplant, calabasa, okra and bittermelon cooked in shrimp paste)...these just to name a few... But that doesn’t even include all the desserts lol...have you tried halo-halo yet? A cooling concoction of crushed ice, evaporated milk with various ingredients including ube (purple yam), sweetened beans, coconut julienes, sago, gulaman, pinipig rice, boiled root crops in cubes, fruit slices, flan, and topped with a scoop of ice cream... But Omgosh my apologies I’m blathering again lol

Nice! Culinary capital of the PH.. More videos bro.. Sidenote: when they gave you a side of chili and calamansi, meaning you have to make a dipping sauce consist of Toyo(soy sauce), calamansi and chili or Patis(fish sauce), calamansi and chili, or Toyo, Suka(vinegar), calamansi and chili. It will enhance and balance our rich and savory dishes. Filipinos love thier dipping sauce. Just like when you had sisig.. The topping on ur dessert is like a coconut caramel shavings dont know the term in english but we called it LATIK. You can put it on all of ur sticky rice dessert.
@Macoi24
