Crank the difficulty. With XP turned up it makes the game too easy since you can make your character OP. High XP % increases your game stage faster but that’s insignificant to how fast you can level your character stats. I’m doing an insane difficulty playthrough with XP reduced to 50% and it’s ridiculous. Trying to do tier 6 quest with a mid level tacky boy working out of a mini bike since I don’t have the points to spend to increase the magazine odds I need. It’s rough, but fun. Oh congrats on your 100k subs! Hard to believe there are 100k people as dumb as me.

Every POI is literally stocked top to bottom with cloth, you just have to recalibrate your looting tactics to start breaking items down (Curtains, rugs, furniture, beds, etc) like you're playing DF again.

also farming, if you want to/have the points to spend. i can harvest a couple hundred cotton, which equal a couple hundred cloth, every couple days for next to no effort after the setup

Dude, it is absolutely killing me that you've left your current base's claim block where it is, because you have SO MUCH empty space claimed at the front of your fire house, but not enough to cover the back of your horde base. You could make a new claim block, destroy the current one, and place it 2-3 blocks back to cover that space, rather than continually destroying and replacing fence-posts. Also: "Savage Country: always such a worthless POI before, but now, oh HO, now it's one of the top ones." Pre 1.0 Savage Country was a great POI for cloth and dyes, and the largest version of that POI had a great loot-room at the end as well. Now, with clothes gone, its value as a source for cloth and dye has been severely nerfed, but the availability of legendary parts makes up for it.

To show how random loot can be in this game, just did a level 4 POI in the burnt from Bob in the desert - Jim and Tims Bullets and Booze - gave me a legendary part and Woodle's Dee Dee drone buddy in random stash(not even the final loot area)

Now, since you have read all the magnum books, you can craft AP red tips in bulk amounts for extra damage. Also, it just says penetrate enemies, only 9mm is limited to a close range.

You should move your land claim block like 3-4 blocks towards the back of the POI. I also think you're at a point foid and water isn't an issue so you should make a new legendary helmet with a better bonus.

Josh you really need to compare the tier 5 iron shovel to the tier 5 steel one. Lvl 3 miner, and deck them both with mods. Should be the same, with the iron using less stamina

Now that Woodle has made all his primary gear Legendary he can play with any more parts he finds. Most weapons are good enough at T5. T6 bonus for armor usually doubles the unique bonus. Make a Mining set, Legendary the 3 parts that matter and a T1 for the boots so you get the set bonus. Do the same for Lumberjack armor. I think that set only has 2 parts that matter for harvesting? Farming is the boots and outfit, and the set bonus doesn't boost harvesting results. Nerdy set the hat is worthwhile. For trading either the Ranger or Enforcer headpiece in legendary. That is ideas for another 9 legendary items. Or you could try to make another legendary Machete. I think the one I'm rocking is 35, and the one Woodle made was 34.7? 34 point something. It is wasteful making multiple legendary weapons, but if you have nothing else you want you could just spend the parts to try for a better craft. I think waiting for the game to drop a better T6 is smarter.

pretty sure you can place land claim blocks inside land claim block areas. meaning a second land claim block in your base to actually reach the whole hoard base area. incase you place electric fences wrong. i know im overthinking it because why waste a land claim when you can only have so many active at a time. normally id say its easier to remake a land claim (5 stones) then electric fences (7 forged iron and 3 electrical parts) but its so much easier to break an electric fence then it is a land claim block that is 7k health lol. but atleast you could hack away at the land claim if you really wanted to. so you can reposition the block. yea dont listen to me at the stage your at forged iron and electrical parts you should have an abundance of or can easily get alot of them to make the fences anyway. but there are options haha

So apparently legendary parts (or if you are incredibly lucky a completed purple item) have a rare chance to replace any normal part or normal item drop, thus why trash (spawning stone items) and outfitter pois (spawning armor) have really high chances. With full item spawns having a much higher chance of being replaced than a parts drop.

Not only should a DD have more utility for the player, it should be available earlier. Generally, by the time you get all the books needed and all the parts, you're running T5 and 6 POI's. Lower levels should have some smaller version available with less cargo. Most importantly though, the use. I think you should be able to fly the drone around, higher levels get more time due to higher quality parts/batteries. A mod slot for night vision and players could scout a new town at night while they're at their base. That would be AWESOME

Something needs to be done with grenades. When you can take out pretty much any undead with a crossbow and steel bolt while crouched, there's no reason you should still have to hit one with a blade 3 times after a contact gr-nade, cheers.

@@greatchawhee I agree, the best addition to the game (whichever update) was the infested quests with the extra loot box. We don't need b-llet sponges, just more of them. Also, the dire wolf, a 'large', well done new addition with higher hit points. This isn't a new issue, previously I'd never make explosive arrow heads, they were less effective than regular steel tips for a one shot.

shotgun turrets are pretty good for back of the head shots by setting them up above the path and pointing in the paths direction. dense hoards all the pellets tend to hit zombies so collateral damage is minimal.

just went to hnn bank. really nice poi (one of the no skull towers in the wasteland you visited with the gyro), i will make my base there but you really should go. it has a puzzle so solve, serveral secret ways, serveral wooden lootboxes, at least 3 saves (one big one), a snack vending machine and I love that it is interacting with you

Or you just start breaking down curtains whenever you see them. I've got stacks of cloth, tons of duct tape and haven't use any cotton or grass to make cloth. Just get in the habit of breaking down stuff as you move through POIs and any residential building will provide all the cloth you need.
