Legendary Pokemon Battle! vs. Moltres [Fanmade]

So I got a comment on my Articuno theme today and thought to myself "Yah know... I should try and do the whole Trio... and then I thought of a real nice theme and was thinking "OH YES. MOL-TRES."
...
Groan inducing jokes aside (:P) I really had fun with this one. I wanted to use some instruments in the Articuno one in here, but also wanted to use some new stuff (such as the Clarinet from D/P) and keep with a Gen 3ish style. I also wanted it to have a feel of "rebirth" and "flame" since Moltres is a Phoeinx, so I added in some low choir to go with the slap bass for that. I almost put in Timpani, but I thought that would dominate the track, and I liked the current balance of sounds. Most importantly, I wanted to keep it seperate sounding from a Zapdos theme idea I had, so I wanted it to have its own charm. This song is my head canon song for Moltres. It fits it so well and omg the bells at 0:08 are *so good* they make Moltres feel like such a big threat and I love that.

Really cool. You should do a Zapdos battle theme to complete the legendary bird trio having done Articuno already. I would suggest doing Zapdos' theme Native American style being the Thunderbird.

Well you already have done Moltres and Articuno. Why not complete it with Zapdos? And Zapdos is literally the Thunderbird at every level.

Native American first came to my mind with the Thunderbird in Native American mythology. I also can see something guttural that feels like being in the heart of a thunderstorm.

This sounds like a Monster Hunter theme. Imagine that, fighting Moltres as a Hunter. Which would probably lead to continuously being Fireblighted.

Awesome. I would have made it have an Egyptian or Arabic style because the Phoenix was supposed to die and be reborn in Egypt, and also because you can associate Egypt and Arabia with fire because it's very hot there

I just try to focus on the quality, and what I want it to convey, which consistently lets me make good stuff. It also helps that I have awesome subscribers like you, so I try my best to impress and improve not only for myself and for all of you. It does make me happy that you find it better that the original themes though! Means I'm going in the right direction. :D

I just press keys and stuff :D But in all seriousness, I usually look at a picture for 5 or so minutes, before/after making a base line with percussion or some other instrument if I don't plan to use percussion and go from there. I like to think about it as "the track is already made, but how do I express it the way I want?" That's were the hard stuff comes in.
