Yes he died of Cancer not heart attack as reported here and what happened to saying he was in The Tygers of Pan Tang between 1980 and 1982 and made two great albums with them! He didnot join Thin Lizzy in 1980!!! (He joined them in '82)That was Snowy white . Fraud although most info was true no doubt.

Yes it is wrong - & what his family said - I know his family & he died from a long battle with Cancer - & please don't show a picture of Presidents etc mourning as totally out of context as John is English & that's where his heritage is - I appreciate the dedication as I'm sure the fans will agree but just a bit out of kilter - Thanks :)
