Thanks, Steve. Think we need a National Ferry Museum for you! 😀

Not much of a train spotter or train geek, but after watching this video Roger, I'm certainly going to come and visit this place! You must love this museum as much as I love visiting the RAF Museum in London!

Great museum, Roger, a definite must when I visit York. The "Rocket" and the "Mallard" plus inside the "bullet" train the highlights. Nice one! 😊 👍

Thanks Alan. Mallard is superb. 😀

I can vaguely remember being at the museum with my dad on the day the first 125 prototype was delivered, that was... erm... 48 years ago!

Thanks for the video Roger. Must be 25 years since I last visited NRM with the boys. FYI the Alstom Eurostar set was specially constructed to cope with the UK's loading gauge hence it appears narrower than the TGV (on which it is based).

Cheers, Alex. You must be due another visit! Maybe next year when theyr re-open the station platform area that's undergoing refurbishment!

Hi Roger, I work at a heritage railway and am keen to travel to the NRM. Yes the modern engines don't have the character of the steam locos

Hey Cathy - thanks for watching. It must be really interesting working for a heritage railway. I've only been to the Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway so far, but would love to go to more. 😀

Whenever you go back to the NRM. Could you also do a bit about Cheltenham as in my opinion she is a very underrated engine!

Thanks Rog. Great memories of my visit in 2019. I agree it's certainly worth a visit, it's a quick 5 minute walk for York Station. Allow yourself plenty of time to see the entire collection.😉🚂🚆

There's so much to see. I was there nearly 4 hours and don't feel I did it justice. And that was with the Station wing closed for refurbishment. Thanks for watching.
