This jacket looks good, but is far from rugged. The taffeta -lined pockets are useless. I put a capped pen in one pocket and it ripped immediately. I have had this jacket less than a week. Additionally, I did a water test on it and the water absorbed right into the material. This is nowhere near being a rugged dakota-type jacket and it simply can’t compete with a thick canvas coat. It’ll do for wandering around town as long as nothing sharper than your hands go in the pockets. This was my first purchase from LW and was hoping for something with higher quality. If you actually want to do chores outdoors, choose something different.

Chhhhyyyyyynnnnnnaaaaaaa. Meanwhile, this brand is continuously the first result when trying to find a quality coat/jacket made in the usa. Instead of investing in American infrastructure, they'd rather have them made overseas and invest in browser manipulation.
