Legend of the Superstition Mountains

Күн бұрын

Today on Chasing Legends of the Superstition Mountains, Wayne Tuttle reads the first part of the Jim Bark notes, an unreleased manuscript about some of the history surrounding Jacob Waltz and the lost dutchman mine.
The Superstition Mountains are located in Apache Junction, Arizona. Within the wilderness, the Lost Dutchman Mine has remained hidden, with up to $200 million in gold. Wayne Tuttle, Frank Augustine, Woody Wampler, Eric Deleel, and Eric Magnuson set out into the Superstition Mountains on History Channel’s Legend of the Superstition Mountains to search for the infamous gold mine in 2015. Growing restless waiting for a second season, Wayne and Frank decided to continue their search in the Superstition Mountains on KZbin, filming videos of their treks into the mountains. The team now engages in treasure hunting and gold prospecting in the Superstition Mountains, searching for Ted DeGrazia’s lost paintings and investigating strange stories and mysteries of the Superstition Mountains.

Wayne I would love to see something, as a project. Research in the story finding the location make a list stuff you need to scout it out to see if it's plausible. It's something you could do a show or two on and come back to now and again and we could see it progress. It would feel like we were in on it with you. start to finish. You do good work I watch all the videos and I will support where I can in hopes of more videos. You're a good dude and you have my respect.

Thanks, Wayne. I've heard the story for a long time, but I actually picked up more details from this. I imagine if Jacob had 50 more of those oyster cans buried on his place, they were probably washed away during the flood? I wonder how long after he gave Julia some gold, the flood occurred?

Absolutely LOVE the stories!!! Please, yes please do more. As @backwater bible mentioned below if there are tangible locations, items, what have you ... please include those, too! Now, I'm off to find the fragile and ancient book "Lost Mines and Buried Treasure" and re-read it. This old book mentions my (ex)mother-in-law's father and grandfather. They lived in Twentynine Palms, CA and used to prospect out in the mountains around there. Hmmmm .... I wonder what happened to my MIL's gold nugget necklace? (she passed away recently at the age of 98) Thanks so much for the story! LOVE IT!

What’s your opinion on Arcana Exploration and the fact that they have claimed to find the mine it just doesn’t seem completely true.
@brianmcdonough8913
@brianmcdonough8913 4 жыл бұрын
Arcana exploration...? Beanie and Cecil had more facts in the cartoon than these guys taking pictures of rocks on a hill. The Peralta mines have been found. Lost Treasure Magazine published the story June 2016 cover story. Legends has never mentioned the article. Ever. The mine is not in the Superstition Mountains. There are ruins at the mine that need protecting, but the crew in Apache Junction refuse to tell the public the truth. That means they are unwilling to tell their peeps, and are unwilling to help me get the real Dutchman mine, also known as Minas Sombreros, protected and made a part of Southwest history. Not to cool if you ask me. BRIAN.

There is only one person who had their story of finding the Lost Dutchman published in Lost Treasure Magazine, cover story in June of 2016. Google it. Minas Sombreros is not in the Superstition Mountains. All these guys from A.J. are clinging to their cottage industry instead of telling the public the truth, that the Peralta mines, the Lost Dutchman, is not anywhere near the Superstition Mountains. THE LOST DUTCHMAN STATE PARK IS IN THE WRONG PLACE. POLITICAL MAYBE? YA THINK? I have solved the Peralta Deerskin map and the Peralta Stones. And the Peralta Burbridge map with its date of 1753, tells us the mine is around 300 years old. All three maps are maps to the exact same place. History is being buried by a bunch of cottage industrialists who refuse to give up the goose. I will tell the world the true story of the Lost Dutchman Gold Mine that is being ignored by universities, professors, AZ fake historians, fake media and AZ beaurocrats who are trying to cover it up for political reasons. Google the Peralta Deerskin map. Desert USA has published some of my findings. YOU WILL NEVER SEE MY STORY BEING TOLD ON CHASING ......NEVER EVER EVER.
@brianmcdonough8913
@brianmcdonough8913 4 жыл бұрын
The mine is in the Bradshaw Mountains, the richest gold bearing mountain in the southwest. There are ruins for around three miles. Yes there were around 16 separate camps and mining sites. The true story that the state is trying to cover up is more fascinating than you could even imagine. Google Lost Treasure Magazine June 2016....see my words on the cover....The Lost Dutchman Gold Mine... "The adventure to be shared by all is yet to come." Ask Wayne why he has never mentioned the article or the lecture I gave at the Dutchman rendezvous. (Where they pulled down the cameras before my lecture). This story, this legend is being stolen by a few unscrupulous people, one of which has the Peralta Stones and the Peralta Deerskin map at his private home in Tempe. The state does not know what to do. I have statements from the secretary of state, the state geological survey, and the president of ASU, Michael Crow. Crow says to me on Facebook...."Brian, I understand your passion about this find, can you please send me your email so we can correspond more appropriately"? We sent the information and 3 years of research we had to the school of human evolution. But because of the political nature of the discovery, ASU refuses to even acknowledge the ruins exist. I am a not rich cab driver who has prospected for gold in Arizona for 30 years. I have found the mines, its ruins, and documents from the 1800s buried deep in state archives. We have even found descendants in Prescott and New Mexico.

Hi Wayne. Why is it that you have never once mentioned the article about the Lost Dutchman Gold Mine in Lost Treasure Magazine June 2016 lead story. You know....the one that says "Lost Dutchman Gold Mine" right on the cover of the 50th anniversary issue of the largest treasure hunting publication in the US. Why Wayne??? The Lost Dutchman Peralta mines have been found. I believe the reason you will not tell your own fans the truth is because the mine is not in the Superstition Mountains. I could not look in the mirror if I were doing what you boys are doing. Especially when it is even possible that someone could die tomorrow looking for it. There is only one person who has solved the maps and found the site and its ruins. And my name is not Wayne T.
@brianmcdonough8913
@brianmcdonough8913 4 жыл бұрын
Wayne, why don't you talk about the Peralta Stones, the Peralta Deerskin map, and the Peralta Burbridge map of 1753...anymore. Google them folks. They have been solved. In the history Channel documentaries called Legend of the Superstition Mountains the Peralta Stones and the Peralta Deerskin map were constantly talked about, mentioned, and showed. But not anymore. Kind of like when Tom Wilson and the Mesa museum of natural history removed the maps from the museum after decades on display, and....they had me police trespassed from the museum.....because I had solved the maps and had my story published in Lost Treasure. From the museum...to a private residence in Tempe. A cover up, thru and thru. I sure hope no one dies searching in the wrong mountain range for something that has already found. Eh W. I'm sure you feel the same.
