I'm VERY impressed by his resilience. I've got ~400h in the game, and these kind of disaster battles on legendary usually put an end to my campaign AND my will to play that damn game ever again. Just watching him play them pains me, but he goes at them again and again, almost laughing at it.

While I definitely can see how vamp armies and lords being killed in the battle and still reviving afterwards is annoying, I feel like it actually makes their race more thematic in TW3. Isn't that supposed to be the real threat of the undead? "We unloaded volley after volley of handguns into them and the darn things fell down and got right back up!!" In the same way that the Skaven have sooo many underhanded tricks and things they can do to overwhelm you, or Khorne's ability to fight and keep getting movement to really push the vibe that he just destroys and conquers. I feel like it suits them as a race and it was really entertaining watching you still take them down despite their cheating. "He revived! And he came back with Lightening strike!" Lmbo

it makes sense for the undead to revive from living units killed in battle and have a formula based on that, not for them to revive from other destroyed undead units. Also, not every unit type can pop up back up. Only stuff like skeletons, zombies or vampires. In various proportions, the stronger the unit type, the less units get revived after each battle. (this was the system in heroes of might and magic 3).

Yeah, battle at 6:30:00 is good illustration why even Orion shouldn't spam cav when playing WE. Puts you at huge disadvantage every time you use underway stance.

I definitely think there should be a variant if you're with that race, like they had with the Chaos Invasion in 1 and 2. Then again, that would work best for when they've given every race their own crisis, make it a bit more balanced.

I just did a Grom campaign. Cavalry is *not* the way to go against High Elves. At least, not mid-game forward. All their archers are also anti-large spearmen.
