Sap sounds like heat in wot, at least in terms of pen effect. Sap may affect meta in legends but without it italian tt has no characteristic imo.

Yeah. Like I said at the end of the video, the effect on the meta of SAP may turn out to be a problem in the future. But I still would like to see it

Hey Xarkun do you plan on divisioning with ppl on pc? I haven’t been able to play legends ever since the pandemic so I’ve been playing pc and would love the chance to play with you. Anyways keep up the great work!

Xarkun with yesterday's sony update for ps5 and controller did you loose the vibration function for wowl ? I have but the controller works fine otherwise....any ideas?

Is sap the same like what the British light cruisers have? If its just short fused AP it doesnt make sense why the penetration would not go down over distance unless it's a shape charged warhead.

It is not the same thing. The British cruiser AP is still AP, so it follows the same rules as AP. It just gets better pen angles and shorter fuse time. SAP detonates more like HE detonates and it’s penetration angles, as I said in the commentary, are way more wild than the British cruiser AP

@@sctm81 HEAT from WoT? Ive heard some people compare it to that, but I couldn’t really say for sure since I’ve never played WoT. And I have no idea if there’s any historical uses of SAP, or even if SAP is actually a real shell type warships would shoot. I’m going to assume it is and it’s not like a fantasy shell, but whether the Italians actually used it, I don’t know.

@@Xarkun yeah, it's a shaped charged warhead that causes a molten metal jet to form that penetrates armor and does not rely on kinetic energy.

On console it's just a bland HE spammer without sonar or radar and the reason it doesn't have those is supposed to be because of sap and rolling smoke. The smoke alone doesn't justify not having at least sonar since they refuse to put it on the tech tree ships.(almost forgot they are basically the worst HE spammers on console anyways out of all the 203s)

A good comparison but the way WG balance the shells have nothing to do with SAP vs HE the amount of damage per shell can always be altered by a balance tweak and in fair most cruisers are much more balanced at PC also the stealth for Destroyers are way less so all in all PC more balanced to fair gaming and not the ridicoulos Destroyer meta we have on Legends.I do want SAP in Legends but if nerfed NO.

I’m only saying the way SAP works can be stupidly broken in certain contexts, like the SAP on PC’s Austin.

@@Xarkun obvious on PC spreedsheet it shows SAP all good and it might be that .Legends is still a child needs some correction and like with all games the biggest problem is when continued adding content new stuff the harder the task of balancing .I am still a noob tryin to get better waiting for the clan mode and grinding knowledge I really hope the game survive cause it has some potential.

I don't see any problems on add SAP on legends the games need it on high tiers especially against ships like Cleveland
