Mike Campbell is a highly respected guitarist, songwriter, and producer known for his influential work as a founding member of the Heartbreakers alongside Tom Petty. With a decades-long career, Campbell has earned a reputation for his distinctive guitar style and songwriting prowess, contributing to numerous hit songs and albums. His collaborative partnership with Tom Petty produced timeless classics, cementing his place in rock history as a key figure in shaping the sound of American rock music. The Church Studio is a historic studio built in 1915 as Grace M.E. Church. It came to life in 1972 when Leon Russell, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and Grammy Award-winning artist, purchased the old church and turned it into an analog recording studio and home office to Shelter Records. Teresa Knox, a Leon Russell fan and Tulsa native purchased The Church Studio and has brought it back to life as a professional analog and digital recording studio, event center, audio engineering school, entertainment network, and home to The Church Studio Archive.

So much love n respect for Mike Campbell. We saw The Knobs open for The Who in Portland. I cried like a baby when they played 💔 s songs.

Mike Campbell is a master guitarist. He's one of the best. He's underrated because he's not a shredder per se. He is the perfect complement with just the right notes and just the right feel whenever he plays. His fills are perfection. HUGE fan of artists who are masters of restraint. I don't remember him ever taking over a song. But he sure took a lot of songs to the very top of their potential. And he did it with style and made it look simple. I feel sorry for folks who can't appreciate that rare quality. Thanks Mike!

Hell yeah he stuck up for Mike. 1 of the best "Co-Captains" the world's ever known. And a damn fine Captain in his own right. Love the knobs, they're keeping the legacy alive at the same time making it fresh and new.
