Awesome musicians and I want to thank them again for all those who stepped up to play with us in place of those members of the Marketts that are no longer with us And I want to thank everyone who helped make this concert such an incredible success including Dave Mason who put his time and talent into making such a great presentation of our concert. Thank you Dave!!

Wow! What an incredible concert. Hearing the music of the Marketts takes me back to my childhood days in southern California, during the time when surf music was king! My only disappointment was in not hearing my favorite Marketts song: Balboa Blue. Anyway, thanks for the music, guys. And thanks for the stroll down memory lane.

Great stuff ! Just one question: Gary Usher wrote Collision Course. Did he also produce it in the studio ? Best Marketts track if you ask me. Usher sounding like a movie soundtrack.

Just curious, is Balboa Blue a M. Z. Gordon song? It is one of my all time favorite instrumentals. I too wish that one was played at this concert but I'm sure glad this got posted. Thanks...

The Marketts were the group that sang the 1966 Batman TV show opening and closing. It's a shame they never were never given credit or mentioned in the credits for singing the opening.

+John Jerd The first LP I found of your original group was in 1973 - AM FM Etc. I especially loved the Mystery Movie Theme. I also have the Batman LP, who doesn't? I visit/come back to the US about twice a year and I'll be looking for your new releases. How about being the first instrumental group to visit and play in Brazil?

You know, that's not a bad idea. Since we don't know any one who has a great place to have a concert, please let us know. That would be a an incredible place to have our final "Good Bye" concert. My email is: Americana_Films@yahoo.com. Thanks, Michael

You are correct, Jose. Unfortunately many of the original Wrecking Crew are now longer with us. The Wrecking Crew did not tour as The Marketts. Other musicians were hired to tour in their place.

Hi Mr. 60 music man, There were many more groups but this video was just to honor The Marketts since the band is going to retire after 50 years of touring and recording without every complaining. I want to thank all of you who supported our groups and songs. If there is something we can do for you, please let me know. I have over two hundred extra recordings.
