If think you misinterpreted some of the rules regarding time travel for the Legends. They can visit other periods of time and interact with younger versions of themselves. But they can't interact with time travel events the Legends themselves participated in.

Sara didn’t know Damien killed Laurel, otherwise she would’ve kill him in that episode where he’s trying to buy the nuke.

Killing Black Canary was an outrage felt throughout the Arrowverse, believe me. Time travel's never going to make sense on these shows, trust me. The next season of LoT is also very good, though.

I never had a problem with her death. Not even the actress herself had a problem with it. The way Laurel was written made her expendable on the show. The writers made to many mistakes with her character that couldn't be fixed anymore.

@@CarlosHuiskens I'll agree they wrote her character badly, but there were simpler solutions than death. The writers should've stuck to the original script instead of caving to the "Olicity" fan club.

@@seangriffin2053 As i said there were no solutions to her badly written character. She was already doomed from early on in the show. And the only chance to save her came with the introduction of Meta Humans and they skipped over that opportunity which was the final nail in the coffin. Also there wasn't a thing such as ''Original script'' The character of Felicity has very little to do with the death of Laurel but people like to list her as the reason. But even if we take Felicity as the cause for her death then it still wouldn't be her fault as Stephen Amell himself has said that his chemistry with Emily was better then it was with Katie Cassidy. You don't force a relationship between two characters simply because the fans want to keep it classic. Actors and actresses need to have chemistry with each other otherwise it won't work.

@@CarlosHuiskens I wasn't talking relationship-wise really. The three characters individually were well-written overall in the earlier seasons IMO. I happen to know the original script, for the inevitable turning point in a season, was changed for whatever reason or reasons I suppose I don't know, but there were changes. And if fans' attitudes about Arrow-S4 was any indication, it was a severely bad turn. I agree on your point about the meta-human route with Laurel, though. They never timed that right or didn't take advantage when they should've.

@@seangriffin2053 scripts always change in tv shows. It depends on how fans/viewers react and give feedback. whatever the original script was, there is no denying that what we got in s1 and s2 and even some of s3 was great. i have seen comic book people complain about team arrow not being oliver and laurel. But that does not mean oliver-diggle-felicity was bad. It was a big success for the show. they were the shows trinity. but sadly with felicity part of that team, laurel had to go the backside as a side kick. Obviously after that felicity and diggle should never going to be killed off. But yeah killing off e1 laurel was a bad choice. they should have done something different. Like turn her into a anti hero/ villain sine KC is best playing villains.

01:59 Because the shows season finale is in May. So, it wouldn't have made sense why the weren't shown in the other shows etc. It doesn't make sense inside the shows, depsite them finding an excuse, but the real and practical reason is that.

I think laurel had to die in order for Oliver to kill Damien darhk.... if laurel wasn’t killed, who knows what other kind of damage would’ve occurred.... kind of like Barry in flashpoint

WebHead2099 he’s part of the problem (or even most of the problem)... literally uses Laurel’s death as way to push Oliver into a relationship with Mark’s fanfiction OC Felicity. Any other head writer would have had more respect for the Arrow community. I have more bad things to say, but I don’t wanna put Arrow spoilers in here...

Captain Kay Danvers - Kane but he never succeeds does he? By doing so, he not only put all of the legends’ lives in dangers but ends up with Leonard being actually dead. See that’s the complication of time travel, you cannot revive someone whose death plays a pivotal role to the timeline, for example, Nora Allen.
