Its jeskai with Rona, the pia nalar who makes thopters, inti, eruth tormented prohpet, and rustler rampage from OTJ to untap the board. The wrens resolve and reckless impulse rip through the deck. This version is surprisingly fast and has many different avenues to victory. Would love to see you run it. ✌✌

@@LegenVD The versions I've seen involve Rakdos joins up, Rona, Ruts and Drivnod for a one turn kill. After all this time I still only have one Rona and never play the esper archetypes that use the card so never crafted. As standard is coming up to rotation it's interesting seeing what I only have 1-2 of and worked around, or what I now belatedly have the full 4.

Awesome combo explination with the clips! I'll add I was doing a similar combo with the caverns gods that return as lands (or Edgar) and Invasion of Amonkhet, but this one is much easier as you don't need to flip a battle. Nice stuff!

At 40:00, you do have the option of making an arbitrarily large Bartolome, by holding full control, casting Rutstein, and then saccing the other Rutstien before the one on the stack resolves.

Important to note: this deck is rotation-proof. The other 4 color legend/combo deck is devistated by rotation, losing a large number of important cards. So once rotation happens, this might be the way to go.

I think you’d be able to make an infinitely large Bartolome at 41:00. Each time you cast Rutstein, you can hold priority to sacrifice the old Rutstein for a +1/+1 counter.

I also was experimenting with a double combo legend list---- the combo I had was Loran (4 mana, whenever a legend etbs return artifact to hand) with 2 syr ginger, mana reduction for 2 (rutstein + mana rock or kenriths royal funeral. With the benefit being not needing any sac outlets in the deck, but also perhaps weaker cards overall

Since people finally figured this out I’ve been having trouble keeping a Rona alive. Did this months ago… Using Loran and something like Skrelv or Syr Ginger you can loop ping damage endlessly. It’s just easier now with Joins Up, Rutstein, etc

At 10:00 you could play rutstein bringing back bartolome to hand for an extra activation on rona potentially finding a lethal draw.

Murdering Rona right at the end reminded me of the time that you attacked with the faithful companion for 19 damage over 19 turns and then sacrificed it right at the end. LVD seems like a great guy, but he will throw you under the bus in the end if it means he'll win.

At 24:10 you say that you "can't cast Cut Down until Bartolomé sticks around", but worth noting is that Plaza of Heroes cares about legendary *permanents*, so Tinybones Joins Up would have given you the black mana as well.

Not a big fan of this crime mechanic, Tiny Bones joins up could've been "each opponent" but instead it has to be this annoying "any number of targets" that slows down the Arena combos.
