Still the only holiday that was a total waste of money.

why? Whats bad about it?

@@patoises It was Luxuria. Imperial capitals. Food was absolutely appalling. Apart from one stay. Front seats had no air con. Blistering heat. We asked to be put off in Germany at the railway station if they didn’t do something. Most rooms were extremely poor. Coach was mainly older people. After a couple of days the drivers announced that no one was allowed to use the toilets ever again as they were full and any extra usage would be spilling over onto our suitcases. ( You asked me, I told you) Drivers knew what was coming re the food and every evening would clear off into the town to eat in a restaurant. One hotel had a window sill full of flies next to our table and served us a tennis ball of mushy stodge surrounded by swill. We asked to pay extra and go in the hotel restaurant. We’re told that next night there would be a better menu. Was the same. One night we were offered pork chop, potato and peas. I asked for an alternative as my wife does not eat pork. Alternative was potato and peas. I have tried in vain to forget the rest of the calamities. Drivers far from hospitable. Apart from the nice leather seats on the coach nothing was luxury at all. Next year we had a cruise and stay with a balcony cabin for the same cost. Was wonderful. As I say, this was the only holiday we ever had in forty years that was a total waste of time and money. Amateurs.
